Excitement buzzed through the castle, maidens scurried in every direction while narrowly avoiding each other. Alcina Dimitrescu stood in the main hall, she watched for the slightest mistake, her azure eyes bore into every feeble human that crossed her path. The castle had to be spotless for their guests. The reverend Mother Miranda has to introduce a new lord to reign over the humble Romanian village alongside three others: Karl Heisenberg, Salvatore Moreau, and the most feared of them all, Alcina Dimitrescu. Karl Heisenberg ruled over the western territory in his factory full of metal bot boys and flea-ridden lycans. Salvatore Moreau ruled over the southern territory; he watched over the harbor and gemstone mining operations.

Last but least, Alcina Dimitrescu ruled over the northern territory; her castle overlooked the entire village and she is most famously known for her blood wine Sanguis Virginis. Alcina brought up her cigarette holder to her mouth and inhaled the tart tobacco flavor, she held it in then released it. The mahogany door from the carriage gate echoed a knock, Alcina turned and ordered a maid to open the door and lead them into the main hall. Mother Miranda entered first, her black, silk robe freshly cleaned and pressed, her golden halo and golden crow mask sparkled in the candlelight. Alcina bowed her head toward Mother Miranda, then her eyes drifted to the petite figure that followed. She was shorter than Mother Miranda, skinnier too, she wore a black mourning gown with a veil and hugged to her chest an antique doll in a wedding dress.

How old is this girl? Alcina thought to herself.

Alcina knelt down to their level to try and not scare the poor girl, the girl shrugged her shoulders and took a step back from Alcina. Mother Miranda placed a hand on the girl's back and gently but firmly pushed her forward.

"Alcina, this is Donna Beneviento and her doll Angie, last of her family and last of the lords. She will be living in the eastern territory in her family's mansion. Donna, this is Lady Dimitrescu and.." Mother Miranda paused to look around, "where are your daughters?"

Alcina looked around and sighed annoyed, "apologies Mother Miranda, they must have gotten distracted with the help, it is their dinner time after all."

Alcina stood to her full height, Donna followed with her eyes until she was looking straight up at the giantess. Her booming voice called for her daughters and made Donna flinch back and hug Angie tighter. Three dark clouds of bugs in the forms of tornados descended the staircase and materialized into three very tall women. They all wore midnight black dresses with transparent cloaks that floated behind them even without wind. Their mouths and the scythes in their hands were bloody, they all had manic smiles that showed off their pearly white teeth. A blond one stepped forward and Donna sucked in a sharp breath, the other two eyed the new woman strangely. Donna was grateful for her veil now, otherwise they would not only see her horrific disfigurement, but they would also see how wide her other eye was and how pink her cheeks were.

"Sorry mother, we caught two maids hiding in a closet rather than doing their chores and decided to have dinner a little early." The blond said proudly.

Alcina hummed, then turned to face Mother Miranda and Donna, "girls, this is Donna Beneviento, the new lord. Donna these are my daughters."

"My youngest, Daniela." The red haired girl took a step forward and giggled.

"My middle, Cassandra." The brunette stepped forward and slightly nodded her head.

"My oldest, Bela." The blond stepped forward, tilted her head, and gave Donna a warm smile.

"Why are you wearing a veil?" Asked Daniela.

Cassandra smacked Daniela upside the head, "you can't just ask people why they're wearing a veil Dani."
