The door groaned and creaked loudly upon arrival, Donna brushed her hand over her veil a final time to ensure that it was in place. She walked around a molding pillar to see Alcina and Mother Miranda already in their respective spots, the two of them looking at Donna expectantly. She held Angie tight enough her fingers ached and she could feel Angie subconsciously complain about it. Donna sank into her shoulders as she approached her chair, sitting down in it as Mother Miranda turned her attention toward Alcina. Donna looked up through her veil, it was difficult to make out anything from how dark the church was, but the chills up her spine indicated that Mother Miranda was currently looking at her from the side.

"Alcina, I do hope this is important. I have a great amount of preparations to complete before the ceremony."

"It is Mother Miranda I assure you. I wanted to speak on something that happened while you were away. I found out recently that Donna has been in a relationship with my daughter Bela. Not only is this a complete violation of my trust, after welcoming her into our family, it is completely immoral of a Lord to engage in such...vile acts with relatives. I demand she be reprimanded, Bela has."

Donna perked at the mention of Bela's name, but it was short lived as Mother Miranda turned to face Donna who froze on the spot. Angie shook a little from the intense grip that Donna had. If she tightened her grip any further, the ancient doll would crack from the pressure. Mother Miranda's wings fluttered, giving her the appearance of being bigger than she actually was, as if Donna wasn't petrified already. When Mother Miranda turned away, Donna released a breath hard enough it disturbed her veil a bit.

"With everything I have do in such a short amount of time, this is what you bother me with? I expected better from you. Unable to handle such a trivial matter." Mother Miranda said coldly.

Alcina visibly stiffened, her grip on her cigarette holder tightened as she remained composed the best to her ability.

"I don't have time to worry about who you are courting or simply having relations with. I consider you my children but last I checked you have as much in common as rodents do to birds. I don't care what you do in your spare time, and I suggest you do the same."

"With all due respect Mother Miranda this is my daughter we are talking about. What if she has to replace me? How will that affect the village if they find out about this? The Dimitrescu name would be ruined."

"Do you plan on leaving us?" Mother Miranda asked.

"No but-"

"Then it is none of our concern. If you're so worried about your image then perhaps you should look at yourself. Stop seducing the help and find yourself someone of equal standing. Donna and Bela could do far worse."

Alcina tensed again, her face turning into a scowl as she deeply inhaled a drag of her cigarette. Donna wished she could be swallowed up by the floor, she hated confrontation and especially hated when she was in the middle of it. She whimpered a little as Mother Miranda turned to look at her again, this time her wings folded behind her but that still didn't help in making her appear any less threatening.

"Do you have anything to add, Donna? This does involve you. As long as this relationship doesn't impact your ability to complete what I require of you. I don't care what you do."

Angie shook her head for Donna.

"Great. Now, before Karl and Salvatore arrive, how have things been in the village since I was gone?"

"About the village." Cracked Angie.

"What about it?" Mother Miranda asked as she turned to face Donna.
