Bela was a black leopard and Donna was an antelope frozen in the beams of her glowing eyes. She stalked around Donna with a low growl, the vibrations from Donna's racing heart traveled throughout her body, and that only made Bela chuckle under her breath. When Bela stood in front of her, her eyes pierced directly to Donna's eyes; she discreetly reached up to touch the bottom of the fabric of her veil to ensure it was still there. Bela caught her hand in her own gloved one and squeezed it enough for Donna to whimper, not out of pain but surprise. Bela's other hand reached through and gripped Donna's chin, the veil fell around Bela's hand as she pulled Donna closer to her face. Donna could smell the bitter iron of the blood around her mouth but she didn't care; she leaned up toward her mouth.

"WAKE UP!"

Donna squealed awake and jerked up with enough force to lose her balance off the bed and onto her floor. She groaned loudly in pain then shifted her head to stare at the scraps of fabric underneath her bed. Angie peaked her head under on the opposite side of the bed, she laughed loudly at Donna's state. She blew a piece of her hair away from her face then lifted herself up, she knelt on the side of the bed and glared at Angie. All week. All week Donna has been having these dreams, and all week Angie has spooked her awake right as it gets to the good part.

She didn't speak to Angie regardless of how much Angie tried, Donna was upset with her and rightfully so. She pouted, heaved and took her anger out on the boy that was still trapped in her well. The hallucinations were stronger and lasted longer, but it became quickly obvious that her strength was connected to her emotions. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't having fun tormenting him, she just wished a certain blond haired girl could see it. Once her anger had died down, she made some tea and a small breakfast. She went down to her workshop to stare at the blank piece of paper still on her desk.

Hours passed and Angie kicked her feet in boredom as she watched Donna build a trench in the floor from her pacing. She sat on the cabinet with her friends, but with Donna's energy being spent on her project, her friends weren't as lively as usual. After the millionth time Donna passed by her, Angie floated down from her perch and examined the blank piece of paper then floated in front of Donna to stop her in her tracks.

I'm still not talking to you.

"You don't have to, but you do have to talk to the piece of paper. Surely you've come up with something? Your subconscious certainly has."

A light pink crept over Donna's cheeks.

I have but..nothing seems..right.

"Fine. If you won't write something I will!"

Angie floated toward the paper but Donna was quicker as she snatched the parchment with lightning speed. Donna sat at her workbench and groaned before she slumped her head against the desk in frustration. She listened to the ticking of a nearby clock: the ticking weirdly helped her concentrate as she slowly sat up and brought the ink and quill closer to her. She began to write what she thought first, a stream of consciousness writing, then rewrote it with fewer words and...feelings. When she was satisfied with the final draft, she walked with Angie into the well room. She diffused the shroud of fog that was mixed with the pollen that allowed the man to climb out. Donna used the shroud to make herself invisible, Angie accompanied her and tied the letter to his wrist.

Even if she hadn't turned invisible, he was very complicit after being starved, dehydrated, and scared to the point he soiled himself. She commanded the man to walk through the manor and out the front, it took some "convincing" from Angie to keep him on the right track. After seeing how dark it was out Donna internally cursed herself for wasting a whole day, but she hoped it would be worth it. Donna continued to trail behind the man as they walked quickly through the village and around the castle to the carriage gate. The closer they got to the castle the further she stood to see how far she could be before the effect wore off. Angie rushed up and knocked on the door, before a maid could answer the door, Donna and Angie took off back to the safety and comfort of the manor.
