As the witches night was coming closer, Yoongi as the expert wizard he was, was already preparing for such a special night as every witch who knew better would have done, it was a special night to connect to the fairy realm, and open the portals of the diverse dimensions, the fairyland realm, the spiritual realm, and in general to connect to all the energies of the world around us from its roots, to be one with nature, plants and animals, to cleaned ones soul and energies and grew their magical or spiritual powers and to return something in exchange for their gift to the pagan gods of old.
Yoongi had always celebrate that night with his mentor, so this year was the first year he would have to do it alone, this had make him feel a little down about the whole situation, he lately had been feeling sad.
The next day, Walpurgis Night, April 30, he had woken up earlier, he had gone out to prepare the place in his favorite tree, in a clear between the trees, where even the wood for the bonfire had been already put in place by him, there he had brought dry flowers, leafs and plants as an offer, the dried fruit and flowers perfuming the place, with a sweet and old odor, the path had been made, from the lake where the moon was going to reflect to open the portals, to the very center of the bonfire place, a path made of dry leafs and stones had been form, incense ashes had been distributed all along the path, small candles were lit to illuminate the way.
Still he felt he was missing something for some reason he couldn't recall, the last time his mentor had prepared everything, but now he was lost, he didn't know what to do next.
"Fuck, now what?" He scolded himself, but he never lost his mind or courage for too long, he was in general calm and chill about almost anything really, so he soon had a plan.
He returned to his cottage, he was sure his mentor had left some books behind for him, so he decided to look for them.
When he had lost all morning on it he finally found a small notebook that hadn't been in his cottage before, also he was convinced that book hadn't existed until that minute.
"What? You old wizard, you never stop surprising me!! You don't, how do you even manage to do this, you know, being dead and all that shit??" Yoongi was speaking out loud for someone who might be there or not at all.
When he open the notebook it read:
Dear apprentice Yoongles, How many times did I ask you not to call me old! Anyways, If you had gotten to my age, with my knowledge and superior being and existence, you would also have known how to communicate with the living ones, how do you say it? Oh yes! "Being dead and all that excrement" But dear boy, my dear powerful Arandal Yoongi, never mind that, for now I made a list of stuff you are still missing for tonight's Walpurgis celebration.
