Steele's POV
When I woke up, Allie wasn't beside me. I used my enhanced hearing to see if she was in the bathroom. There wasn't a single sound.
Where could she be? I pulled myself out of bed and walked to the living room to ask someone if they had seen her. Nobody was there.
Where the fuck is everybody?
Voices came from the kitchen. Finally.
In the kitchen, Allie stood over the stove cooking something. My beta, third in command , and the two humans I turned last night stood there talking.
"Hello, Alpha." My beta and Allie smiled and bowed their heads slightly. The other two looked up at me, eyes wide. The one girl was quite pretty but could never compete against my Allie. The male was muscular and tall but stood shorter than me.
"Tell me your names." I said in my alpha tone.
"Their names are-"
"I want them to answer me, not you." I snapped at Allie.
"Sorry, alpha." She murmured quietly.
"Now, tell me your names."
"I'm Maria." The girl sent a flirtatious smile my way.
"My name is Michael." The man said softly, bowing his head.
"Good. Now, the full moon is in two days. You will shift completely then but for now, someone will show you around the pack territory and you must listen to my rules and follow my commands. I will not stand disrespect."
"Yes, alpha." They said in unison.
"Do you want any breakfast?" Allie handed me a plate with pancakes, eggs, and bacon.
"Sure." I took the plate from her hand.
She smiled but it faded quickly. I set the plate down on the counter and walked over to her. My arm wrapped around her small waist and pulled her close to me.
"I'm sorry I made you feel bad." I smiled and gave her a light kiss.
She pushed away.
"Go eat." She went back to doing what ever she was doing when I walked in.
Multiple pans, pots, and plates were piled with recently cooked food.
"Allie, babe, what are you doing? We have a chef!" I laughed and walked up behind her. I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I told your chef to take the day off. He cooks everyday. And for a bunch of ravage animals." She chuckled softly and I scoffed at the joke.
"He had sue-chefs. He didn't have to cook alone." I shrugged.
"Well, now he doesn't have to cook at all."
God, I hate our arguments.
"Stop arguing and eat before it gets cold." She flipped over a piece of bacon.
"Stop cooking for everyone. It's not your job."
"No. I am the Luna and I can't cook for the pack of I want."
Sighing, I picked Allie up bridal style. She let out a squeal.
"Steele, put me down!"
"No. You've cooked enough food. Besides we have a meeting to attend to." I carried her out of the room and towards my office.
"What meeting? You never said anything about a meeting?" She had her arms around my neck, twirling a strand of my hair around her finger.
"It's with your brother. There were a few rouges spotted on both territories."
"Oh."
I set Allie down in front of the door. She opened the door. Ian was sitting in the chair in front of my desk, doing something on his phone.
He shot up out of the chair when we stepped in. Ian nodded at me then hugged his sister.
"It's good to see you again." Allie smiled.
"Yes it is...Oh! I have something for you." He turned and picked up a container.
Ian extended his arm and handed Allie the box. She took it and opened the lid. She instantly closed it again and forced a smile.
"Aunt Steph sent them for you. I remember when you were little and would not stop eating the brownies she cooked."
She nodded. Ian didn't seem to notice the way she is acting. She went from her normal happy self to something far from that.
I leaned down and whispered in her ear. "Whats wrong?"
She shook her head and stood in the back of the room.
The meeting started and Allie's mood hasn't changed. About half way through, she bolted out the room.
I followed her after, I excused us from the meeting.
She flew into a bathroom and tried to lock the door but I stuck my foot before it could close.
"Allie, babe, what's wrong?" I nudged the door open a little.
She blushed but knelt over the toilet. Her face scrunched up and she turned so her head was over the toilet too. I picked up her hair and held it about her head.
"Allie, this is not normal. Tell me, now." I used my alpha tone, which I hate using on her but now that she was part of my pack, it works.
"I-I'm... Steele, I think maybe."
"Oh, God, stop stalling. Please!"
"Steele. I'm pregnant."
