Zane places Wyatt in the backseat of April's car and buckles him in. He walks around to the other side of the car and slides in. He looks over at Wyatt and sees him looking at him tiredly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you," he whispers. "Hey, it's okay. I'm sorry I didn't see the symptoms. C'mere, lay against me. You look half dead."
Wyatt unbuckles and sits in the middle, close to Zane. Zane buckles himself and Wyatt in, and wraps his arm around Wyatt's shoulders. He feels Wyatt relax and lay his head on his shoulder. Zane looks at his mom and she nods, turning on the car.
"He has the flu. I gotta drop off a prescription of Tamiflu for him. We can get it filled at CVS. Mom?" "Hmm?" "Thanks for helping us. I...I really appreciate it." April nods and they ride in silence for a few minutes.
"We're here," April says quietly. Zane nods and Wyatt opens his eyes, looking around sleepily. "Why're we at CVS," he mumbles. "To get your medicine filled." Wyatt nods and Zane kisses his head. Wyatt lifts his head off of Zane's shoulder and he sneezes. "Gesundheit." Wyatt smiles and he quietly says, "I wanna go to sleep." "When we get back home, you can."
Wyatt nods and Zane unbuckles and goes into CVS. April looks at Wyatt and says, "He's fallen in love with you." Wyatt looks at April and nods. Zane comes back. "We gotta come back in two hours to pick it up." April sighs, irritated. "Okay. Let's get Wyatt home so he can go to sleep." Zane nods and buckles.
Soon, the pull into the driveway and Zane gently shakes Wyatt's shoulder. "Hey, we're home. C'mon, let's get you to bed." Wyatt nods, tired, and he unbuckles and follows Zane in the house.
They get upstairs and Wyatt starts to walk tworads the guest room. "Wy, c'mon. This way," Zane tells him, gently pulling Wyatt tworads his room.
Wyatt takes off his shirt and jeans and climbs into the bed. Zane watches him as he falls asleep, and he covers Wyatt up. His fingers brush against his chest and he sees Wyatt shiver. Damn, I've fallen hard for him, Zane thinks. Wyatt turns onto his side and Zane sees his spine through his skin.
Zane gently runs his finger against Wyatt's spine and watches as the skin and muscles twitch. He sees the scars and he looks at them, pained. I wish I was there for him, so that he wouldn't have been alone. He hears Wyatt mumble something in his sleep. Zane, tired, lays down next to Wyatt and is shocked when Wyatt turns over and opens his eyes. "Hold me," he whispers. Zane nods and opens his arms. Wyatt snuggles close and buries his head against Zane's chest.
Zane starts humming a quiet song and Wyatt sleepily asks, "Please sing it." Zane nods and clears his throat.

When Zane finishes, he sees that Wyatt is asleep. He smiles at how relaxed and peaceful Wyatt looks. Zane relaxes and closes his eyes, falling asleep with his boyfriend in his arms.
April walks upstairs and quietly opens Zane's door and sees both boys asleep. She watches as Wyatt shivers from fever and how Zane wraps his arm around Wyatt. She walks in and picks up a blanket, gently covering her son and Wyatt. Zane opens his eyes and April quietly tells him, "Go back to sleep, hon. I have to run some errands, and I'll pick up Wyatt's medicine.." Zane nods and April kisses the top of his head. She quietly goes out and closes the door.
