THE SPARK

Elena watched with wide eyes as Stiles broke the link between her and Katherine, saving her life. Stiles dropped to the ground as blood trickled down his face to the grassy field.

"What happened?!" Elena exclaimed running to Stiles. "He...saved your life." Bonnie pointed out as they watched Stiles' skin start to desiccate. "He sacrificed his life to save yours. You should be honored." A voice announced.

The trio turned around to find a beautiful boy with yellow eyes. "What are you talking about? Who are you?" Elena asked.

"My name is Shinichi and I'm an old friend of Stiles." The stranger voiced. He was absolutely gorgeous. 

Elena looked at Stiles before watching his skin heal and return to normal. "Wha-" She voiced confused.

Stiles snapped open his eyes with an audible gasp. He sat up coughing looking around. Elena pulled him close. "You're alive!" She said. "Of course. What about Katherine?" Stiles asked before looing at the new kid with yellow eyes. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Who are you?" Jeremy asked looking at the new boy. "The name is Shinichi." Inari voiced before secretly winking and smirking at Stiles. "Inari?" Stiles thought.

"The one and only." Inari answered with a mischievous glimmer in his eyes. "You and your gender fluidity. Lucky." Stiles grumbled in his mind. Shinichi couldn't help but laugh aloud before covering his mouth. "Shut up." Stiles snarled.

Stiles hadn't realized that Elena hadn't let go of him yet. But the thing is...he didn't want her to. He felt safe with her so close to him. "Thank you." Elena whispered into Stiles' ear. "No problem." Stiles said as Bonnie looked at Shinichi with a blushed face. 

Shinichi had a way with both men and women. Over his many lives over the centuries he has always charmed both of them with his looks and words. 

But he always stayed true to Stiles. Always by his side when he needed him. His guardian fox spirit. His spy.

Shinichi smiled at the thought in Stiles' mind. "Well, it was a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Bennett. I will see you later." Shinichi told her with the flit of a perfect smile that made her blush. It also made Jeremy jealous. Stiles watched Shinichi leave before looking at Elena. "Come on. Let's get out of here." He told her before rising to his feet and speeding Elena to safety.

LATER AT THE SALVATORE HOUSE

Stiles sat on the sofa as Elena changed her clothes. "You saved my life, Stiles." Elena said coming out of the bathroom in fresh clothes. "What I tell you? I never wanted you to get hurt, Elena. I just wanted Katherine gone." Stiles stated softly as he wiped blood off his face. Elena took a seat beside him on the sofa holding a damp washrag. 

"Here let me." Elena voiced before cleaning the blood off Stiles' face. 

Stiles took in every detail in her face as she washed away the blood. He reached up slowly and gently grabbed her hand. He pulled her hand away from his head before caressing her face. "Stiles..." Elena whispered. "I know." He said before pulling her into a warm and tender kiss. 

Elena pulled back for a split second before looking into Stiles warm hazel eyes. Elena felt a warm buzzing feeling emanating from her lips after the kiss. She couldn't control herself as her lips crashed into Stiles' own. 

The duo shared breaths as they reclined back onto the sofa. The sexual tension within the room was hot and heavy. And Stiles couldn't get enough of it. It felt like an electric shock was coursing through each of their bodies. They couldn't stop. They wouldn't stop. And they didn't.
