"So, she's a milf?" Jisoo is relentless.

Lisa chokes on her beer and coughs loudly, trying to recover quickly but it really went down the wrong pipe. "Jesus, Jisoo."

"What?" the other woman shrugs, but she has a crooked grin on her lips that is way too smug. "She's a mother... you'd like to fuck."

"Stop." Lisa groans, finally recovering. She regrets telling her best friend about her new neighbour.

Jisoo has this amused twinkle in her brown eyes and the grin only grows, until the woman starts laughing. Out loud.

Lisa mutters under her breath. "I can't help it that she is so beautiful, okay?"

"You're such a useless lesbian, Lisa. Why don't you just ask her out?" the black-haired woman cocks an eyebrow in a challenging way that annoys Lisa all too much.

Lisa just runs a hand through her blonde hair, sucking her lips between her teeth. "I don't think I am her type, Chu."

"And why the fuck is that?"

Huffing, the blonde doesn't want to talk about it, but she also does. Maybe she should've talked to Rosé instead of a tipsy Jisoo, who never holds back on what she's actually thinking.

Most of the time, Lisa loves the bluntness, the honesty. But today, she isn't looking for honesty.

Well, she doesn't even know what she's looking for.

"Because she's a single mom and she's a singer in a fucking rock band, Jisoo. She's tough as nails and I'm just..."

"A softie?" Jisoo snorts, throws her head back and laughs. "God, woman. I think you are just about everybody's type. Why are you so worried about what she thinks of you?"

"Because well..." Lisa blushes. She full on blushes and she hates herself, biting her lip and looking away from her best friend.

Now, even thinking about her new neighbour, she can feel the heat in her cheeks and maybe in her chest, too.

When she closes her eyes, she can vividly remember the moment she first saw her neighbour.

Lisa had been coming home from work, parking her car in front of the apartment building.

It had been pouring, so she hurried inside. The rush hadn't helped though, she was soaked to the skin when she arrived at the elevators.

The thing is, she wasn't alone.

In front of the elevator, she saw a woman. Her black, shoulder length waves were slightly damp.

A worn-out leather jacket, tight black jeans and black boots with ridiculously high heels and to finish the look, the woman had black nail polish and several silver rings on her fingers.

Everything about her outfit was black and Lisa secretly just... loved it.

She smiled to herself, trying not to lower her gaze more than appropriate, but she couldn't help herself.

The woman just seemed... fit.

Awkward as Lisa can always be, she had cleared her throat to get the woman's attention.

The moment their eyes locked, Lisa simply couldn't speak.

No matter how black the brunette's outfit had been, it was nothing compared to the colour of her eyes that seemed too bright for a gloomy day.

There was a twinkle in them the moment she spotted Lisa and the woman smiled so beautifully that the blonde could feel it in her knees.

Something tugged at her heart.
