We Meet Again [A Lisoo Story]

Chapter 2

Lisa walks to her office, everybody she sees on the way bows a little at her. She enters her office and sits down on her office chair. 

She hears a knock on her office door. 

The girl who saved her yesterday walks in. Both of them are stunned to see each other. 

"Are you the new secretary?" Lisa assumed.

The girl politely nods.

"What's your name?" Lisa asked.

"Jisoo."

"Thank you. For saving me yesterday." 

Lisa presses a button on the telephone of her desk. It makes a beeping sound.

"Yes boss?" A male voice responds.

"Come to my room and show my secretary around." Lisa orders.

"I'll be right there." 

"That's my Administrative assistant, he'll be helping you around." 

Jisoo nods.

Suddenly, a man appears in Lisa's office. 

"Hello. Follow me." the man said. Jisoo follows the man.

"My name is Hank. I am Miss Manoban's Assistant. From now on, you will do as I say? Alright?" 

Jisoo nods.

"Here's your desk. Just because we work in the same room does not mean we're the same rank, ok? I am a higher rank than you, so listen to me." Hank says in an intimidating voice.

"Start off by photocopying 50 of these." Hank orders after dumping a file onto her desk. Jisoo immediately gets to work.

Lisa smiles to herself, glad she could see Jisoo's face again. She presses the button on her telephone again.

Hank picks up the phone.

"Yes, Miss Manoban?" 

"Let Jisoo take my phone calls, I know you're very busy anyways." 

"But-" 

Lisa hangs up before Hank finishes his sentence.

"That goddamn girl!" Hank yells out of anger after slamming his fists onto his desk. 

Not long after, Jisoo walks in.

"Starting now, you will be taking Miss Manoban's phone calls, understood?" Hank said angrily.

Jisoo nods. She gives the photocopied copies of the files to Hank.

Hank walks outside and slams the door. He walks to Lisa's office with the photocopied files. He knocks on the door.

"Yes?" 

"It's me, Hank. Here are the copies you asked for." Hank says.

"Perfect, give it to Mr. Seok Bon Hwa." Lisa orders without even looking up at Hank, still focused on her work.

Hank's eye twitched.

"U-understood." Hank said before rushing off.
