(Y/n) lay in his sleeping bag wide awake. It was around midnight and Karolina and Nico were still out. Molly was fast asleep on the couch while Gert and chase slept on the bed.

The boys attention was quickly drawn away from his thoughts and towards the door as he heard it unlock. He watched as Karolina stepped inside alone. "Where's Nico?" (Y/n) spoke quietly enough that he wouldn't wake anyone but loud enough that Karolina would hear him.

"Went to go help Tyrone and Tandy" Karolina didn't sound as enthusiastic as you'd expect from someone who had just come home from a date with Nico Minoru.

"You alright?" (Y/n) asked. He tried not to let his jealousy stop him from being a good friend but he still half hoped Karolina would say no.

"Nico is absolutely smitten with you" Karolina groaned as she walked over to her sleeping bag and lay down. "She clearly doesn't like me the same as she does you"

(Y/n) was silent but inside he was ecstatic to hear it.

"How can she fall for someone who eats pizza with a fork and knife?" Karolina whispered.

"She likes a bad boy" (y/n) shrugged as he turned away from Karolina so she wouldn't see his smile.

"Whatever" Karolina closed her eyes and went to sleep.

(Y/n) smiled to himself as many thoughts ran through his mind.

The morning

(Y/n) woke up and the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was that Nico had come home at some point during the night. She was laying a few feet away from him in her own sleeping bag.

The boy slowly got out of his sleeping bag and walked to his bag. He pulled out a change of clothing before walking to the bathroom.

Once out of the bathroom (y/n) walked to the desk and grabbed the X-ray glasses, he put them in his shirt pocket before looking around and noticing Karolina was gone. He dismissed it as her still being upset over last night. Everyone else was still asleep.

A couple minutes later (y/n) turned to Nico as he heard her yawn. The girl slowly sat up and looked around. "Good morning" she yawned.

"Morning. How was your date?" (Y/n) sat down on the floor beside Nico.

"It was good" Nico shrugged, she had a smile that kinda worried (y/n). "May have a second date tonight.

"Really?" (Y/n) asked, jealousy clear in his voice. He regretted that instantly.

"No. It was fine but I'm not interested in Karolina" Nico smirked before she said her next words. "I just wanted to hear the jealousy in your voice"

"I'm a bad influence on you" (y/n) whispered causing Nico to laugh.

"Karolina said the same thing" Nico replied as she looked around the room. "Where is she?"

"I don't know. She said last night that you didn't seem interested in her so I assumed she just went out to clear her head. Get some fresh air. Something like that" (y/n) shrugged.

"You're probably right" Nico nodded hesitantly. They were silent for a moment until Nico spoke again. "Put on your glasses. See if you can see her downstairs"

(Y/n) shrugged. He wasn't gonna say no to Nico. He took the glasses out of his pocket and placed them on his face. He looked down at the ground and focused to try and see the colors he had come to associate with Karolina. There she was. "She's sitting in the lobby" (y/n) spoke as he turned and looked at Nico.

"Alright. I'm glad she didn't go to far" Nico nodded. It took her a moment to realize that the boy was still wearing the glasses. She quickly covered herself. "Take those off" she barely remembered not to yell at the boy.

"Will do" (y/n)'s eyes moved down to her stomach before he finally took off the glasses. "I like the belly button piercing. Very classy" he placed the glasses into his shirt pocket.

"Of all the parts of my body I would have expected you to be talking about my belly button was on the bottom of that list" Nico spoke as she uncovered herself.

"Would you rather I bring up your boobs? What if Molly wakes up right now?" (Y/n) motioned to the minor laying on the couch. "I'm just trying to keep things PG-13"

"You're right. Thank you" Nico shook her head instead of prolonging the conversation. She got out of her sleeping bag and stood up. "I'm going to go take a shower" she began walking towards the bathroom.

"Have fun" (y/n) replied as he watched her walk in and close the door behind her.

"You two are painful to listen to" (y/n) turned to see Molly laying with her eyes still closed.

"I knew you were listening" (y/n) spoke as he walked over to the girl. "How much did you hear?"

"Enough to know that you don't consider me an equal" the girl opened her eyes and looked up at the boy.

"I don't consider anyone an equal. You especially are a minor, that means I have to be extra careful around you" (y/n) picked up the girls hat from the coffee table and dropped it on her face.

"I resent that"

"I don't care"
