"We need jobs" (y/n) and Molly quickly turned to see Karolina walking into the room.

"I thought you could claim royalties from all of your parents movies?" Molly asked as she tilted her head.

"I can" Karolina nodded in response. "But when I said we I meant you two. You're constantly sitting in here watching old television" she pointed to the television that was currently playing Loony Tunes.

"What kind of jobs would we even get?" Molly crossed her arms. "I'm a minor and he's a college dropout"

"Actually" (y/n) spoke as he stood up and both turned to look at him. "I've been thinking of applying to become a police psychic"

Molly and Karolina glanced at each other before looking back at the boy. "What?" They asked at once.

"You don't know about police psychics?" (Y/n) asked with a confused look. They both shook their heads. "Well then, I'll explain. A semi-friend of mine back home has a sister. That sister has psychic abilities. She works for the New York police department to help finding missing peoples. They don't usually mention psychics on the news when the person is found but if you dig a bit deeper you can find the involvement"

"But psychics are mumbo jumbo. Everyone knows that" Molly crossed her arms and shook her head.

Karolina tilted her head and glanced at the girl. "I glow, you're a mini-hulk, and he can touch things. Are psychics really that hard to believe?" Molly considered it for a moment before shrugging in response.

"Anywho... I would go for it if only I wasn't a missing person" (y/n) replied causing Karolina the flaw in her plan to get the boy away from the TV.

"Oh right" Karolina nodded slowly. "How about you go and fix that all up?"

"I don't know how to do that" (y/n) shrugged. "For now I'm just gonna watch tv" Karolina quickly grabbed the boys arm before he could sit back down. (Y/n) pulled away violently before jumping back. "Don't do that!"

Karolina flinched. She hadn't meant to upset him. She was just used to being able to touch people. Instead of talking she quickly just turned around and speed walked out of the room.

Molly watched with concern as (y/n) let out a shaky breath before sitting back down beside her. "Are-"

"I'm fine" (y/n) didn't sound fine. He held his arm where Karolina had touched it and stared at the TV.

"How long is it going to be like this?" Molly asked as she crossed her arms. "You being all skittish"

"I'd assume until Nico gets tired of it and uses her staff to wipe my memory of my mother" (y/n)'s attempt at humor came out more nervous sounding than he would have liked.

"Right..." Molly just shook her head before grabbing her phone from her pocket.

"I'll never stop enjoying the pain this causes you New Yorkers" (y/n) smirked as he glanced around the restaurant while once again eating his pizza with a fork and knife.

The people around the restaurant all stared in horror at the boy, both horrified and unable to look away.

"Hey" (y/n) quickly looked up as Nico sat down across from him.

"You finished menstruating?" (Y/n) asked blatantly. Nico glanced around at the other people in the restaurant before glaring at (y/n). "Is that a no?"

"I'm finished" she sighed as she grabbed a slice of pizza before putting it on a plate and grabbing a knife and fork. "I just wanted to apologize for how I've been the past couple days. Then you spoke and now I feel much less sorry"

"I love you too. We're good" Nico rolled her eyes at the boy as she proceeded to cut up her pizza.

"Karolina thinks you need a job"

"Yes. She told me. Then I explained to her why that's a bad idea" (y/n) replied as but the pizza on his fork. "Then she touched me and I yelled and she left me alone"

"Yeah. She told me that too. We need to get that missing person thing cleared up" Nico spoke as she impaled one of the cut up pieces of the pizza slice with her fork.

"I don't see why I need a job. We have one of Ironmans apartments and I'm happy staying in there all day"

"Right. That's part of the problem" Nico shook her head before putting the pizza in her mouth and eating it. "The only time you go outside is to freak out people with how you eat pizza" she once again glanced around and smirked as she saw everyone still looking horrified. "Which I will admit is fun"

(Y/n) sighed. "I'll get the missing person thing cleared up, the job on the other hand is another story"

"Fine. One step at a time" Nico nodded before gently putting her hand palm up on the table. She gave the boy a look.

(Y/n) looked down at the girls hand before slowly putting his own out and taking hers in it.

(Question of the day: do you believe in psychics? I believe most of them are mumbo jumbo but the ones who actually solve crimes are real)
