Enzo Monroe was a smart man, calm and always had a plan. That was until his 17 year old daughter came home from school claiming she met her soulmate and he wasn't human. Better yet she thinks him and his family are a coven of vampires. Just what this family needed was a coven of vampires on top of hunters breathing down their necks.
"Are you sure they're vampires?" Enzo asked his daughter.
"My vision was fast and all over the place, but it was filled with blood, lots of it." Venus responded
"He could be a serial killer." River joked.
"River be serious." Thena scolded him
"Come on, everyone talked about them. Even just looking at them they all look eerily similar. Yet, according to Jessica Stanley they're all adopted. His eyes were golden, but they were turning dark. The girl Bella walked by him and a fan was on. Her blood must have set off a craving or something." Venus ranted wanting her family to believe her.
"You got that all in one day." River wondered.
"Dude, I got that all from lunch. Bella asked Jessica about them. You were too busy with your entourage of bimbos." She explained to him.
"You're just mad I got asked out more than you." River teased her by waving a beignet in her face.
"Enough! We'll revisit that comment later, but if the Cullens are vampires we need to be extra cautious not to draw attention to ourselves." Enzo stated not wanting to hear their bickering any longer.
"Go do your homework. Your father and I will work on the protection spells." Thena told them.
"If any of us become a blood bag for a vampire, I'm blaming you!" River shouted over his shoulder as he made his way upstairs.
"NO ONE WANTS FRAT BOY, STONER BLOOD!" Venus snarled.
"MOM VENUS IS BEING MEAN TO ME!" River whined.
"DO NOT MAKE ME COME UP THERE YOU TWO!" Enzo shouted exasperated with this whole ordeal.

Venus and her family were cautious of their new home even more than before. It didn't help that Edward Cullen was not seen at school for the following week. Something Bella and Venus both took note of. Apparently the scene in Bio was not the only one to happen that day. Bella told her at lunch the next day that he wanted to switch his last class. Meaning either Venus or Bella spooked him.
It was clear to Venus that Bella was infatuated with Edward. Obsessively watching the Cullen's come in each morning and their lunch table. Venus of course was naturally doing that same, but she was more curious to know if they had any idea about what she was. She really didn't want to move again, so soon.
