River wasn't thrilled about the fact Venus was convinced this vampire was her soulmate. They barely knew anything about the Cullens what happened when one of them slipped up. The Cullens were a threat to their family and River was going to make Venus see reason.
While River was plotting how to get Venus to kick Edward to the curb she was getting dressed for her outing with said vampire. She braided strands off her hair back to keep her fringe away from her face and dressed comfortably. Edward said a hike in the woods, so she wore lounge wear, so she didn't ruin her nice clothes.

"Do you really want to come or do you want to glare at Edward the whole time?" Venus teased her familiar.
I could take him
"Of course you could Binx. You're very deadly." Venus agreed, smiling at Binx's protective side.
Be careful brat
"I always am." Venus said before grabbing her bag of grimoires.
Venus knew this was risky. She was well aware of the fact Edward and his family were vampires. Vampires feed on blood and no matter what kind of diet the Cullens have they could always make a mistake. Venus was no different. Her magic was often boosted by her emotions in the moment. She could easily kill Edward just as he could her.
The ringing of the doorbell pooled Venus out of her spiraling thoughts and she tried to shake off her nerves.
"SWEETIE EDWARD IS HERE." Thena shouted for her daughter.
