Venus couldn't sleep that night. Her latest warning sent her on edge. Bella Swan was now in Venus' eyes enemy number one. Which made her laugh because what could this mere human girl do? At least with witch hunters she knew what to expect, but this girl knew nothing about the supernatural. Venus didn't like not knowing. Since sleep wasn't going to come she decided to go for a walk in the woods around the house.
Don't get eaten
"Thanks for the vote of confidence Binx" Venus muttered before shoving her foot in her gray Ugg boots.
Before she could make it to the last step a squeaking noise made her stop. Turning on her heels she was faced with River.
"Dude don't sneak up on me like that!" She scolded him once he got closer.
"Well do you wanna smoke or what?" River offered a rolled joint.
Smoking with him was safer than walking around the woods alone even if she could protect herself.
"You're so taking the blame if mom and dad catch us." Vee said before swiping the joint out of his hands.
The siblings spent hours in the yard laying down, passing the joint back and forth until it was gone. They just laid there staring up at the stars waiting to deal with their reality once the morning came.
"So vampires?" River ruined the silence.
"At least they're pretty to look at." Vee chuckled.
"Are you sure he's your soulmate?" He asked, concerned.
"I don't know what having a soulmate feels like, but I know that I want to know more about him. I also feel like I can breathe easier when he's near." She rambled.
"Alright, but he is on probation. The slightest misstep and I turn his ass to dust." River threatened.
"Aww you do love me! Now that's all that's out of the way. Let's make pancakes." She beamed.

Thena and Enzo jolted out of bed after a loud crash came from downstairs. Confused, but concerned, the two adults quickly made their way towards the noise. Hands out in case they needed to fight they rounded the corner to get to the kitchen.
"You're gonna wake mom and dad doofus!" Venus whispered.
"You're the one that wanted pancakes." River muttered.
Enzo and Thena both were quite confused by the sight before them. Their children were surrounded by flour, chocolate chips, whip topping, multiple types of fruit and syrup. Not to mention the bacon that was sizzling on the stove.
