*Jamie*
"I don't know why we even adopted you. You're stupid, fat, ugly, and you can't even sing." said Mitch with an evil glare in his eyes.
"She's always been so fucking retarded, I don't know why I was ever friends with her." said Izzy. What the hell? Then everyone, Scott, Mitch, Kirstie, Kevin, Avi, Izzy, started to walk slowly towards me calling me "fat" "ugly" "stupid" "untalented".
I woke up in a cold sweat, and I was breathing heavily.
This was my worst nightmare, I was always afraid of never being liked. Of being hated by people I loved. I must have screamed or made some kind of noise because Scott and Mitch came running into my room.
"Jamie, are you okay?' Mitch asked, coming over to my bed.
"I'm fine, I just had a nightmare." I said.
"You're not fine, you're shaking!" he said, hugging me tightly. I hugged him back, and Scott came over and hugged us both.
"It was just a dream. Don't worry. If anything bad comes near you, I'll beat them up with my bare hands." Mitch joked.
"I think Kirstie would do a better job than you at that." I laughed.
"Yeah, she was always better than you at gym Mitch." Said Scott. All three of us laughed and then they let go of me.
"Do you think you can go back to sleep, or do you want us to stay in here with you?" Asked Scott.
"I'm okay." I said.
"Okay, we're staying." He said.
"What? Why?" I said.
"Because we want to. We're your parents so we can do whatever we want to do!" Mitch said, sitting on the edge of my bed. A few minutes later, I fell asleep to them singing a slowed down version of "Love Again".
*Time Lapse to Morning*
"Jamie! Time to get up!" Called Scott from downstairs. I got out of bed, put a brush through my bed head, and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Morning!" Scott said, kissing the top of my head as he passed by me.
"Morning. What time is it?" I asked, yawning.
"7:30, why?"
"WHAT?!?! I've never been up before 8!" I yelled.
"Whoa, calm down! We have rehearsal at 8:30, so get used to it." said Mitch.
"Can I at least get a coffee on the way?"
"You mean like crappy coffee or Starbucks?"
"Starbucks!" I said.
"Oh jeez, Mitch, what've you done?" Said Scott.
"I haven't even known her for a day!"
"I've been addicted to Starbucks since I was 12!" I said as Mitch put down Spongebob shaped pancakes in front of me.
"Ooh Spongebob!!!!"
"Mitch are you sure she isn't your daughter? Cause it's kinda scary how much you have in common."
"Oh please, Scooter, if I had a kid I would have told you. And plus, I would have had to had her when I was 9."
"True. Now everyone eat and get ready, we have to leave by 8:15." At exactly 8:16, we left, and I was on my way to my first Pentatonix rehearsal.
