~The new maid~

(Authors note: hi guys!! Today is a day when I got out from my comfort zone and made some unusual story. This is the first English story that I ever created or ever published. I tried my best to write correct but please don't cut my throat if I wrote something or anything incorrectly cause this isn't my first language. By the way I hope you'll enjoy the story! Now let's get into it.)

It was a rainy day when Lady Dimitrescu heard knock on the door. She was sitting on the sofa in the living room and took a sip from her vine. She called a maid to open the door and you were standing in front of the door calm. When the maid opened the door she let you in and the lady came up to you two.

-Are you going to stand there? Come on in. You get inside and looked around. -You are the new maiden aren't you? -I am..-I'm Lady Dimitrescu you would prefer to call me mistress or my' lady. -Yes my' lady. -Luna will show you your room and you start tomorrow. When you wake up please come to my study I'll give you your chores list. Understand? -Yes mistress! Have a good night! You saw her eyes widened and she was looking at you speechless. -Did I say something wrong my' lady? You asked with worried tone. She didn't answer just turned around and left.

"-Shit Y/n you just ruined everything..she will hate you.." you thought to yourself. On your first morning you wake up at 6 am and went to your mistress study for your chores list. You didn't know where was the study but a maid was on the way to the kitchen so you asked her.

-Hey! Sorry for interrupting you but I don't know where is Lady Dimitrescu's study can you help me? -Hey. You don't interrupt me. Of course it's...-Y/n! "-Oh fuck am I in trouble?"

You went to the living room and your Lady seemed a bit angry. -You said yesterday you understood what I asked. Where were you? Talking in the kitchen? Don't you have chores to do?!

-My apologies my lady I just asked a maid to give me a direction to your study. I don't know where is it. Sorry mistress. -Oh dear I totally forgot about this. I truly apologise to you follow me please I will teach you the basics. Memorise all place where I lead you I expect every maid to know the castle from heart. -Yes my lady I will do my best. -Great.

You learnt this castle is huge and so different but you didn't have the time for get lost in your thoughts. You listened to your mistress and learnt everything just in a day. On the next days you tried to not ruin a single task and for your surprise you didn't ruin any. You did everything perfect and were so proud of yourself for this.

You worked hard and served your lady and her daughters the three didn't liked you. After a month they did everything to get rid of you. They ruined your tasks but you didn't said anything just restart it and with perfection you finished it. You never have the bravery to tell your lady about Bella, Cassandra and Daniela's behaviour.

You now work here for 3 months you saw every week maidens got lost without a trace and you knew why..nobody told you but you knew..you knew the whole family the three girls and Alcina as well.

You heard clicking in the hall and they got closer to you. You tried to ignore it cause you knew it was very early for you to wake up. The door creaked and opened. A shadow figure stood next to you and find you adorable when you sleep you were so peaceful. The figure sat next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder.

Your eyes widened and look terrified at the shadow. -Its just me Y/n don't be scared. -Hmm..my lady. Do you need anything? -Yes Y/n sorry for woke you up this early but I need every hand. Mother Miranda and the other lords will came this evening. "-Oh fuck, fuck, fuuuuck! That's not good. Just stay calm Y/n!" -Is something the matter dear? -No, no my lady my apologies I just got lost in my thoughts. I never heard of the other lords or this Mother Miranda. I hope they will like the food I prepare. -I'm sure they will my dear. Get ready and I will meet you in the dining room. -I will be quick I promise. She nodded and left the room.

-She will fucking remember me...you mumbled to yourself. You were very nervous about this night and you didn't wanted to look at Miranda. With this decision you left your room and headed to the dining room.
You and other maids started to prepare things to the dinner. It was 5:45 pm when you finished the things around and you were so proud of yourself. The guests can arrive any minute. You searched for your lady to ask a favour.

-My lady! -Are the guests arrived? -Not yet can I ask something? -Go ahead. -Can I go to my room to rest, I finished every task but I'm exhausted. -Oh Y/n I totally forgot I woke you up so early and you were doing everything with perfection of course my dear I allow you to go to bed restore your energy. -Thank you! Let me know if you need something my lady. Good night! -Good night y/n. You left the room and your heart melted she was so sweet with you.

When you get to your room you felt relieved. After changing your clothes into pyjamas you dozed off. It was 3 am when you got up. You were thirsty so you went to the kitchen for water after you got back and get back to bed but you didn't feel like you can sleep. You were just turning side to side but it just made you tense so you decided to head to the living room. It was cold for you so you light up the fireplace for yourself and you got lost in you thoughts.

-y/n? -My lady my apologies did I wake you up? -No but why are you up dear? -I wake up cause I was thirsty and couldn't sleep after. -Please rest a bit more you will need your energy. -Sounds like you planing to give me different tasks my lady. -You're right. I always dreamed of having some vegetables in the garden so I'll ask you to plant the seeds in the morning. It will take your day so you don't have other tasks to do. -I understand my lady. Then if I'm excused I'll go get some more sleep. -Just a minute draga mea. "-What the what? Why did she called me that?"

You blushed a bit and looked in her eyes. Her golden gaze were just beautiful. -Y-yes my lady? -Why didn't you mentioned that my daughters misbehaving and always interrupt your work? -I didn't wanted to complain that's all my lady. This isn't a big deal for me I just restarted it and did it again with perfection as always. I don't wanted to be whiny. I like challenges they risked my job but I did my best to do it as a usual way.

-By the way my lady how do you know about this? -I saw it once I thought you will come to me to tell me but you never came and acted like nothing happened. I like how you deal with problems.
