Two months has past and Nova has made sure that Ace had no way of contacting her and it was successful the man was losing his mind without her and the fact that she seemed unfazed and unbothered by their separation killed him even more
Novas mind has been on other things such as aging out of the system her and Nevaeh have been Apartment hunting for the last few weeks preparing for their birthday that was next weekend they knew that Ms. Jones wouldn't waste no time kicking they out so they had to be prepared
"So what you ladies think?" Ms. Pam the landlord lady asked as Nevaeh and Nova walked through the two bedroom one bathroom apartment it wasnt luxurious but it was well put together and up to date it came with a refrigerator and washer/dryer set it also had more than enough space for both of them
Nova looked over at Nevaeh for reinsurance making Vaeh look back over at her with a smile and nodded looking back at Pam and smile "We'll take it"
"Okay great" Pam smiled "I just need you two to sign the paperwork and pay the deposit fee"
Nova and Nevaeh frowned a little "We don't turn 18 until next week is there a way you can keep the apartment on hold for us"
Pam sighed and looked over at the two girls "Fostercare?" she asked making both Nova and Nevaeh nod "Look I can switch the dates around a little so that you guises can get the apartment today"
Both Nova and Nevaeh jumped up and down smiling embracing Pam in a warm group hug making her laugh "Trust me I know how it is"
"You was in the system to?" Nevaeh asked as all three of them left the apartment to go to Pam's office to sign the paperwork
"Yup and I must say I'm very impressed with you two girls" Pam said as she opened her office door for them allowing them to take a seat "I was tossed around from home to home when I aged out I didn't have anything only 50 dollars to my name" Pam trailed off "I took the wrong path instead of getting a job I chose drugs and selling my body for money I'm clean now but it took a lot for me to get where I am today that's why I want to help y'all because no one was there to help me"
As Pam got the paper work together Nova and Nevaeh just sat there thinking wondering how they're life would be if they didn't take the path they that they were taking
"So just sign right here and here" Pam said handing them the paper and pen snapping both girls out of their thoughts they both held their breath without evening knowing as they signed the paper work
After they signed Nevaeh went into her purse pulling out three stacks of money which was both her and Novas savings put together "Here's the first four months of rent"
Ms. Pam smiled than thanked her as she took the money she pulled out two sets of keys handing one each to both girls "Congratulations Ladies your move in date will be on your birthday — also there's a used furniture store down the street that sells pretty good furniture"
