Okay, this is the beginning of July, which is Stevie's and Karofsky's birthdays. The group misses both but Sam's family throws a party for all their kids to celebrate being late. Also, at fair day, Joanna brings up seeing her twin shopping for an engagement ring for his long term on again off again girlfriend, Penelope. No girl takes it well but Mercedes runs into the house and up to her room to cry.
Joey has to pry her out with promises of not proposing. They have a heartfelt talk and he coaxes her downstairs, where they have karaoke.
I'm telling you, things are coming back to me!
I don't remember much of the next two weeks but I do know that Marcy was at work (with her blonde shadow [Lisa]) when she got the call from the elderly man who bought her painting at the art showcase. He and his business partner were having an exhibit and wanted to feature her. She quickly threw Karofsky, Sam and Tina on him but it was agreed.
She and her sisters had a meeting in her room and she bought them all stuff. I cannot remember what it was but it was all personal stuff that they would like.
Then she kicked them out so she could paint. Whenever she wasn't working on her articles for the newszine, she was painting/drawing.
Mal was curious but she refused to let him see.
Tina wanted to improve her portrait drawing skills so she drew Mike a lot and Karofsky and Sam said Kurt and Quinn were their muses.
Before Mercedes' and Quinn's birthday, the exhibit happened and all their friends and some of their families showed up.
Karofsky painted like he was the new Thomas Kincaid and had Kurt's face hidden in each picture. Tina painted the love she had for Mike and so did Sam, who was more used to making macaroni statues.
But Marcy? She used pencil and charcoal and paint to depict what her dead child looked like. She had dozens of pictures of her baby.
It made everyone who knew break down.
After that is Mercedes' and Quinn's birthday party and it's huge. The girls are riding high off their wins from riding horses (sometime in those two weeks they all [including Mercedes] got back in the saddle) but I remember something about Marcus being home for breakfast and Maddie preforming for Marc, Mike and Mal for Father's Day. He was upset because she (nor any of them) had done anything for him.
But the party is a blast and I feel like I wrote about it but it was just a party.
Either before then or right after, more cousins came to visit including Joanna. The kids were all around the pool and the Fabangeses showed off their martial arts skills.
The group was terrified.
The little kids had to go inside at dark but of course Lisa had to make things difficult when Laura said so.
The teens partied outside until they moved inside to the den downstairs. They all had permission to stay over (mostly because all of their siblings were there) and they partied in the basement.
Laura was upstairs to watch the babies but Marc was gone. Their cousins were in the winds.
The girls danced to different songs suggestively as the boys watched. They drank and was merry until Marcy noticed how stiff Rachel was so she turned on Harry Belafonte's Jump in the Line and showed her how to work it.
Jesse nearly swallowed his tongue.
It was then that Santana and Brittany decided they wanted tattoos. Marcy got her kit and did Santana first, straddling her bottom as Santana wanted it on the back of her shoulder.
