Record Break

I got things kinda twisted. I don't know if it happens Tuesday or Wednesday but I'm thinking it's Tuesday because it just feels right.

Anyway, Mercedes asks Marcy how seeing Martin last night went because Marcy gave Sugar a ride home. Marcy says how Martin understands his place in Lima. They go to breakfast in their uniforms.

When they get to school, there's a big commotion between Marcy and Mal. No one but Ellen knows what's going on but I can't for the life of me remember what time of day this fight happens. I just know Mal stalks out to go to the basketball court to shoot hoops to calm down. I can't remember where Marcy goes but she's crying.

The boys go to talk to Mal and he reveals that Marcy wants them to go to see a fertility specialist. He doesn't want to and is angry that she keeps pushing it.

Mike tells him that it might just be his cross to bear if he wants to get Marcy pregnant. That shouldn't he want to take every advantage he could to insure success?

The other boys have opinions but who cares?

Mal blew out a breath and told Mike he was right. They grouped back up with the girls and he hugged Marcy and told her he'd go.

I can't remember what she said but I'm pretty sure it wasn't snippy because I don't remember them fighting for the rest of the day.

I can't remember what happens the rest of Tuesday during school hours but I remember the chapters were pretty long. I do know that the new glee members were introduced at the meeting and the sports girls went to their third (fourth) practice of the day.

Then everyone came over to study in the basement. Things are going great but I think Marcy admits to writing more than just for the newszine and everyone loses their minds.

Marcy sees Quinn has a necklace that she had in her room and it starts a brawl between the teenaged sisters as Mercedes had actually stolen the necklace from Marcy but Marcy actually stole it from Laura. Mike is sick of them tripping so he takes it and says he's giving it back to Laura. All three are put out.

I seem to remember Brittany being put out by their fighting.

The next day is Wednesday (duh) and though things are fuzzy, I remember the girls finding invites to a party. The envelopes are pink and have a perfumery scent wafting from them that none of the girls like but all of them recognize. A (now) senior girl likes to throw back to school parties and as popular girls, of course they're invited. But Marcy doesn't find her invitation right away. She finds a love note.

Ellen is dismayed.

Marcy tells her that it's just a love note. She has a lot. Then proceeds to gather them all! Some are for Mal though and she points it out. Then she says how Ellen has one of her own.

Ellen is gobsmacked.

The other girls pipe up about all their admirers. Rachel is upset she still only has JBI but he's stuffed plenty notes into her and Blaine's locker. Shauna was shocked to find a love note for her.

Marcy remarked on how Shauna was pretty. Of course she had an admirer.

The girls go to lunch and spread out to talk more about their love notes.

The boys are put out.

Marcy waves three notes that belong to Mal and reads them.

Tina reads Mike's.

Brittany is excited to read Artie's.

The boys shut up.

The girls decide to discuss the party and how they should go shopping for Spirit Week and that Saturday.
