3rd Person POV:
Y/n has been feeling like Freddy is slowly drifting away from her and never wants to spend time with her. Was it bc he was cheating? He was getting tired of her? So many thoughts ran through her head, not knowing if it was her fault that he was becoming distant or if it was bc he just found someone better.
Freddy doesn't know what to do anymore. He doesn't know if he's doing something to cause their relationship to go the other way. But at the same time, Freddy feels like it's just their relationship not working out.
Y/n knows what the problem is, and the problem is Freddy. He's becoming 'too busy' to hang out with her. He always has something come up out of nowhere. He almost always uses the excuse 'oh I'm sorry, my mom just texted me, I gotta go home' and if it's not that excuse, it's a random weird one that makes no sense (Henry danger vibes💀) and at this point, she feels like he lost feelings.
~at school~
Freddy's POV:
I saw y/n and I went up to her to say Hi
"Hey y/n!" -Freddy
She looked at me and did NOT look happy. Okay, I MIGHT'VE told y/n I was 'busy' yesterday so I couldn't hang out with her but really, I needed to fight a few guys. Actually, now that I think abt it, I've told y/n that 3 times these past 6 days.
"What do u want Freddy?" -y/n
Yea, she's big mad.
"I just wanted to say Hi to my gf, I can't do that now?" -Freddy
"No" -y/n
I gulped knowing that she could easily beat me up and break up with me.
"Are u okay? Did I do something?" -Freddy
I kinda knew what I already did but I just needed to make sure she was mad abt what I think she's mad abt.
"Hmm let's see. You've been real distant with me, not acting urself, cancelling plans with me, u keep telling me ur 'busy' and u always say ur mom texted u and u gotta go home!" -y/n
She was practically yelling at this point.
I knew she was mad abt that. Idk what to do tho. I can't just tell her abt me being a superhero and trying to save the world bc number one, she'll feel really bad for yelling at me. Number two, she'll tell me it's too dangerous and won't want me to do it anymore and trust me, I don't wanna worry her 24/7. And number three, it's supposed to be a secret.
"Y/n-" -Freddy
"No! Don't 'y/n' me! If u lost feelings for me, ur tired of me, or ur cheating, just tell me now, Freddy!" -y/n
Oh God, she thinks I'm cheating?! And why would I lose feelings for her?! I could never get tired of her!
Oh my God, she's gonna cry.
Pls don't cry, pls don't cry, pls don't cry, pls don't cry, pls don't cry.
"Y/n I'm not tired of u, cheating on u, or lost feelings for u! I still love u very much, but I just get busy alot. U have to trust me. I wouldn't do that to u" -Freddy
I grabbed her hand, hoping that'll calm her down a little.
And I guess it worked.
"Fine... But if there something ur not telling me, u need to tell me now" -y/n
Do I tell her? Or do I not? If I do, Billy will probably kill me. But I need to!
"Um can I tell u later? Like after school?" -Freddy
"Sure" -y/n
"Okay, I'll see u later?" -Freddy
She nodded "mhm" -y/n
Then she walked off to class.
Okay, all I gotta do is ask Billy if I can tell her and if he says yes, great. If he says no, not great. I would have to lie to her if Billy says no.
I really hope he says yes.
~skip to lunch, bc I'm lazy~
I saw Billy so I sat with him and waited after a few minutes to ask him.
"Hey Billy?" -Freddy
"Yea, Freddy?" -Billy
"Can I tell y/n abt me being a superhero" -Freddy
Billy spit out whatever he was drinking and coughed. He looked at me
"WHAT? are u insane?! Why!?" -Billy
He was whisper-yelling so that people didn't hear
"Bc y/n thinks I'm cheating on her, losing feelings or getting tired of her" -Freddy
"Why would she think that?" -Billy
"Bc I've been cancelling plans with her, ditching her, becoming distant, and making up excuses that I have to go and half of them make no sense!" -Freddy
"U can't think of something else to tell her that doesn't have to do with u being a superhero?!" -Billy
"No! I need to tell her Billy!" -Freddy
"Then u gotta make sure she doesn't tell a single soul" -Billy
(Like Jack's movie, don't tell a soul💀)
"So I can tell her?!" -Freddy
"Yes, but-" -Billy
"MaKe SuRe ShE dOeSnT tElL a SiNgLe SoUl, yea I got it" -Freddy
"Good, and I'm warning u now, telling y/n can put her at risk" -Billy
"I know I know but I need to tell her unless I want to be broken up with" -Freddy
"That's up to u, Freddy" -Billy
Thank God he said yes! Now y/n can know the real reason on why I'm acting the way I am
~after school~
I saw y/n walk up to me
"So, u gonna tell me or what?" -y/n
"Uh yea, okay um ur probably not gonna believe me on this but just know, I'm being completely honest" -Freddy
"Okay, go on" -y/n
She looked super confused on where I was going with this
"So you've seen those videos on YouTube of those superheroes right?" -Freddy
"Yea?" -y/n
"And yk the one with the blue suit?" -Freddy
"Mhm" -y/n
"Well.. That's um me. And that's the reason why I cancel plans with u and why I've been acting distant.." -Freddy
"U really think I'm gonna believe that? Ur funny. And I thought u were gonna be honest with me" -y/n
She started to walk away from me.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her to an alley
"Y/n,u gotta believe me. I can show u if u want" -Freddy
"How the hell would u sho-" -y/n
I interrupted her by saying "SHAZAM" and I transformed into my suit
Y/n was in shock
"See, I told u. Do u believe me now?" -Freddy
She nodded
"Can u like um go back to the Freddy I know and Love?" -y/n
"Oh right, yea" -Freddy
"Shazam!" i went back to normal and y/n grabbed my hand and put her other hand on my cheek
"I'm sorry for not believing u. But why didn't u just tell me in the first place?" -Freddy
"Bc I didn't want to put u in danger and Billy would kill me" -Freddy
"Billy?" -y/n
"Oh yea uh Billy is the red one" -Freddy
"Omfg. U need to tell me more things Freddy" -y/n
"I know I know, I'm sorry" -Freddy
"It's okay, just promise me to not lie again?" -y/n
"Promise" -Freddy
We both smiled and kissed.
Maybe it wasn't so bad to tell her the truth
