A Silent Change

Chapter 3

3rd POV:
"which ones?" was the only response they got from the bluenet. She had figured it out during the day.
"most of them. Nino Alix, Julia and Nathaniel are the only exceptions." sabrina said as the other 2 noded in agreement.
Mari sighed. She knew it. Deep down she knew they were all fake. The fact that they always seemed to get bad luck if she used her power on them (marinettes power is called 'miss fortune' who ever she touches will get either good or bad luck depending on what type of person they are. If they are a nice person then they will get good luck, but if they are a bad person they will get bad luck the only down side to this power is it makes her get wired luck which people call clumsiness), the fact that they would always guilt trip her into doing their babysitting and never thanking her for it. She should of exsepted it sooner. They WERE using her.
"I'm sorry mari-bear I should of told you sooner!"
"it's not your fault Chloe, I was just to stubborn to admit it was true."
Sabrina looked at her secret freind, "so what are you going to do about it?"
Marinette thought for a moment and sighed before shrugging her shoulders.
Kates face suddenly brightened up as she wrote something down and showed it to the girls.
'OK so summer holidays is in 2 weeks, right? I say we continue to pretend like nothing is wrong. Then in the holidays we focus on us! Build a name for ourselves, get a new style, better sleeping and eating habits, that kinda thing!'
The other girls thought about this for a moment.
"that could work," marinette finally spoke up.
"oh we should also all get pets, they are sposed to be really good for the mental health." sabrina added.
"Hey girls, we all have powers right? Why don't we become superheros? Like the heroes that take care of the little things! We could also start a club as a cover up on why we're missing things" Chloe said.
All of them liked that idea. So they started planning when suddenly marinette got a text from alya.

🦊: hay Mari, can you look after my sisters this afternoon? me and nino are going on a date and nino wants to tell me something.

Kate saw this text and stole the bluenets phone.

🐞: sorry but I promised Kate I would show her around Paris.
🦊: can't you just bring my little sisters with you?
🐞: no can do. Kate gets over welmed really easily so it might be a bit much for her.
🦊:if you were a real friend you would do it...
🐞: well if you were a real friend you would respect that I'm trying to make time for my family and stop nagging me about it.
🦊: Kates not your family!
🦊: and I'm your best friend! You have known me for longer!
🐞 Kate is my family and you are my best friend, but if you can't be exsepting of the fact that I need a break the I don't think we can be friends.

Marinettes eyes widened at that

🦊: fine! I'll just find someone else to do it!
🐞: good😊

"was that really neasasery?"
Kate just nodded. Marinette sighed
'let's stay focused, so I think the first thing we do when the holidays star is cut off all ties with the class except for the ones that we listed earlier'
Kate wrote down. Marinette stared for a little while.
" you can use sign language if it's easier, we all know it."
Kate smiled in response. She then signed 'we have 2 weeks to plan oit what we're doing so we should probably meet up every now and then for now let's just go home, I'm tired and the jet lag is starting to kick in'
They said their good byes and headed off home.
