A Silent Change

The dry ice knife shattered as it hit the ground. Standing before her in all his glory was the one person that Kate just couldn't figure out.

'messager boy!' Kate signed happily. His real name was Ben, but she never called him that. He was the sort of person you would go to if you wanted the latest gossip of the supernatural world. His scruffy brown hair and his emerald green eyes made him look like he didn't have a care in the world, and that wasn't far from the truth. He was a care free child who didn't bother to hide his emotions. In all honesty he was the azact opposite of Kate who hid how she was feeling behind a emotionless mask. Around people she trusted she would open up but in class she was like the ice queen. The reason she called him messager boy was mostly because his power was called 'ask and reseve' which allows him to tell you what ever information you want him to, but you have to ask him the question in order for him to know. Ben gave out a joking sigh. "must you always call me that?" he said in fake sadness before suddenly brightening up. "oh! Before I forget I was told to give these to you." he hands her 8 letters each addressed to different people in her class. More specifically the people who weren't fake, including her. When Kate saw who the letters were from she would of screamed if she was capable of it. It was from the undergrounders, a hotel for the supernatural."next week on Monday Mr Leo wants you and those other people to go to his hotel for the summer holidays. You will be missing one week of school but as far as I'm concerned you deserve it."'what about you?'"I'll be there too. I've even asked for you and me to have rooms right next to each other, so if you ever have nightmares you can come and hang out with me."Kate smiled and sighed.'us insomnia freaks got to stick together'"haha thats right. Anyway see you Monday"He then proceeded to jump of the roof and run across the buildings.Time skip:The next day Nino, Alex, Nathaniel and Julika all found letters in there bags to the Undergrounders Hotel. The were so exsited that they started muttering things in a language only the supernatural could speak and understand. They kept on getting lots of weird looks but they didn't care. Marinette, Chloe and Sabrina got the invite from Kate who gave it to them derectly. All was going well until Lila desided that Kate was a threat, but she wasn't aware of just how much of a threat Kate was. Lila told everyone that Kate pushed her to the ground and started beating her up. She had (obviously fake) bruses as proof, but she had one whole in her story. "... And then she started yelling at me and calling me names. It was horrible!"
