3rd POV :

"So your power is called phase 3?"Kate noded.'it allows me to control the three phases of matter, but I have to know exactly what I'm controlling in order for it to work. Which is why I normally do water since its easy.'Marinette's eyes sparkled. "that is so cool!"Their conversation continued on until they bumped into someone. Kate tried not to visibly cringe at the sight of alya. She almost looked mad."It's your fault Marinette! Your the reason he broke up with me!""w-what ar-are you talking about?" the girl in question asked with a fake stutter."Nino broke up with me because apparently in being fake with you! He chose you over me!"'quite right to, from what I can tell Nino and Mari have known each other since they were kids.'Alya continued to yell at the bule eyed girl, completely unaware that Kate was filming the whole thing. It wasn't until the reporter tried to slap marinette that she pitched in. Grabbing her arm mid slap. When alya turned to yell she was quickly cut off by the glare she reserved. It was cold and threatening. Even though her face showed no emotion, her unnaturally blue eyes said all alya needed to know to run away'you lay one hand on her and I will kill you'(Katie's eyes are normally more of a sapphire blue but when she actavites her powers they turn more of a pastel type of blue.)Marinette watched her ex best friend run away in fear before turning to Kate."remind me never to get on your bad side"A smile graced upon Kates lips as she let out a silent laugh. 'she had it coming.' she signed back. "you could probably kill people with a single stare." 'I was known as the ice queen at my old school' "really?!" 'yep, but none of them knew I was mute, they just thought I didn't like people. Which was also true.' "MARINETTE!" Marinette turned around only to see a girl wearing to much orange and had her hair tied back into what looked like sausages. Kate cringed at how fake she was. "what do you want Lie-la?" "Who's your friend?"Marinette looked at Kate and saw the discusted look on her face. "some one who figured out you were fake right from the start" she said smiling as Kate used 'phase 3' to make some black ice underneath Lie-las feet, and well you can imagine how the rest went. Time skip they are now in Kate's room. Marinette is helping her unpack:'so who was that?' Kate signed. "her name is Lila Rossi. She's in our class. She is also a lier and is super fake as you noticed. She said she was on a trip to achu (don't know if I spelt that right) and just got back this morning and that's why she hasn't been in class." marinette answered as she put away a pear of fluffy grey socks. They spent the rest of the afternoon in a comftabale silence. Once they were finished they did home work together and went to bed... Well marinette did, but Kate stayed awake since her insomnia and PTSD wouldn't let her get much sleep. She went up onto the balcony (imagen there is another balcony on the other side of the chimney thing that leads down to her room) and leand against the railing. She suddenly felt a presents behind her, so she quickly turned around freezing some carbon dioxide in to a knife and held it up to the persons neck (using her powers, she's not actually touching it.) "nice reflexes." said a familiar voice.
