The room went silent."... But didn't she say she was mute?" Kim said. At that moment Kate walked into the room with Marinette by her side. Alya glared at Marinette, but Kate sent the glare right back making the blogger shrink back in fear."U-um she says she's mute but she is just faking it!" everyone turned to Kate and attempted to glare at her, but her blank stare did not falter. "You were faking your mutism?! Not cool man!"Kate turned to marinette and signed 'Are they for real'Marinette just shrugged her shoulders.Kate let out a silent sigh, calmly pulled out her note book and scribbled something on a fresh page. She then turned it around to show the class.'I'll have you know that I am physically incapable of speaking since one of my past Foster parents were abusive enough to cut out my vocal cords. Secondly if I really did beat her up like she claimed I did then she would most likely be in a coma since that's what happened to the last person who messed with my family'When they read that everyone in the class paled."if that's really true then show us the scar!" Alya cryed. Kate rolled her eyes and moved her long black hair out of the way so they could see the large nasty scar running from the mid top of her neck all the way down to somewhere on her shoulder. The couldn't see it past the midnight blue hoodie she was wearing. The class stared in shock at the sight of the scar. Alex turned to nathanal. "how did we not notice that yesterday?" she asked. "She was wearing a turtle neck yesterday so it wasn't obvious." Alex noded her head and turned to the front. "there all idiots," (they are speaking in the 'secret language' so no one can understand them) Julieka came over and joined the conversation. "they really are... And it's not fair the fact that they are just using Mari. She doesn't deserve this." the other 2 hummed in agreement. "they'll be at the hotel this holidays won't they?" "Yeah. I think Kate was the one who put the invites in our bags."The girls stared at nathanal with wide eyes. "really, but when could she have done it?" Alex asked. "yeah my bag has been with me the hole day!" Julieka added blinking the surprise from her eyes. "I saw her at a undergrounder meeting last year you know those one that you never go to, she was covered in bandages. I'm pretty sure her power is called 'phase 3' it allows her to control the 3 phases of matter. However she has to know asactly what it is she's manipulating. My guess is that she use the oxygen to put the letters in our bags with out us knowing." the three of them looked at Kate with respect. The girl was asactly what marinette and the class needed. She was someone who didn't take nothing from no one. She had that attitude that said 'if you mess with me or my friends I will rip you head clean of your shoulders.' and it is true to. She was not someone you would want to mess with and clearly no one else in the class got those vibes from the girl because of what they did next."how do we know that scar isn't fake!" alya screamed. Marinette, Chloe, Sabrina, Nathalie, Alex and Julieka sweat dropped.'is she a idiot?' they all thought.Kate gave them a not so innocent smile and pulled some makeup wipes from her bag. She then whipped her neck and showed them that the scar was in fact real, she then turned to Lila and slowly walked up to her. The wet wipe still in hand. Grabbing the snake by the collar, earning some gasps from the class, she scrubbed the wet wipe all over the girls face making the glittery bruses get washed a way. The entire class were now gapping like dead fish and Chloe was trying and failing to hold in her laughter.
(I just released that I gave all the other powers fancy names but I didn't give one to Chloes power, so I'll be calling her power 'open book' since she can read people's minds)
