                                              (Y/n)

Currently, I waited for Hu to arrive at the cafe. I sat across from Xingqiu, and Childe as he talked about the club he was in. I think It's called the Fatui or something. Xingqiu was typing away on his laptop, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings.

"So, Scaramouche never wants to help with anything." Child said. "Honestly, I'm starting to get the feeling he doesn't like me."

"You're only getting that feeling now?" I deadpan.

"Are you saying he doesn't like me?" He looked shocked as he sat back on the couch. "Now are you going to tell me that Xiao doesn't like me?"

"Well, actually..." I trailed.

"I don't."

I looked to the side to see that Hu had arrived, Xiao tagging along with her. They approached us and sat down on either side of me, placing me in between them. Xingqiu greeted them with a nod before he resumed his typing. Childe on the other hand wasn't too pleased with Xiao's comment.

"I see how it is Xiao." Childe sighed as he feigned being hurt.

"Good," Xiao replied coldly.

"By the way," Hu tao announced. "The club fair is on Friday. Xiao and Y/n you will be helping me set up since we're down a few members this year."

"But Huuuu," I whined. "I joined so I didn't need to do anything."

"Please Y/n."

"Only for you Hu."

"Since Y/n is helping, why do I have to?" Xiao asked.

"I said we're down a few members, not one xiao." She huffed. "And Xingqiu, I expect you to be there too."

"I will." He didn't stop typing.

I went to place my hand down on the couch, but Xiao's hand was already there. My face heated at the unexpected contact.

"Uh- Sorry," I said as I retracted my hand. But Xiao quickly grabbed it and placed it on the couch, putting his hand on top. Not being able to control my blush, I looked at the ground instead. I couldn't even bring myself to look at xiao to see the expression he might be making right now.

I heard Hu laugh a little beside me. Xingqiu glanced at us and cracked a small smile. Luckily Childe was too distracted with his phone to notice.

Unfortunately, the contact didn't last long. Xiao had a class to get to. As soon as his hand left the top of mine I instantly missed it. I sighed as my face started to cool down.

While Xiao did have a class soon, he didn't get very far. He stopped a few feet away from us as a girl approached him. His back facing us. Everyone noticed and immediately started sending each other questioning glances. We exchanged hushed questions as we waited for them to start talking.

"Xiao~" She chirped. "I uh- had something I wanted to ask you about."

I have no idea who this girl is, and by looking at the others, they didn't either.

Xiao gave her an annoyed sigh. "What? I have class soon."

"Well," she fiddled with her fingers. "Did you get the note I left in your locker last semester? I realized that I didn't sign it."

We were simply flabbergasted. I gave Hu a panicked look. She gave me a reassuring shoulder pat. Xingqiu gave me a shocked look that screamed, he knew I wrote it. Really, how does everyone know?
