I bumped into Xiao repeatedly as we walked back to Hu Tao. I was able to do it multiple times before he started shoving me back.

"What are you two doing?" Childes' voice chimed from behind us. We stopped in our tracks and turned to face him.

"Shouldn't you be setting up your booth?" Xiao asks.

"Don't tell me you've been chasing Scara this whole time," I added.

"I refuse to set up alone." He huffed, "Have you seen him?"

As Xiao told him we hadn't, I noticed Scaramouche in the distance, behind Childe. I watched as he noticed us. He gave me a look that screamed 'Don't you dare.' Then he walked off before I could say anything.

"Well, I'll see you guys later then." Childe left in the opposite direction of Scara.

We reached our booth and Hu Tao met us with a grin. "How'd it go?"

Xiao responded dryly. "We delivered your paper."

"Really?" she sounded disappointed.

"Yeah," I then quickly changed the subject. "What's next?"

She thought for a moment first, "Well, all we need is to put up the banner."

"Great," Xiao said, picking up one side of the banner. "(Y/n) grab the other end."

With the power of teamwork, we hung the banner perfectly and were free from Hu Tao's labor. I planned to walk around and look at all the booths for a bit, Xiao oh so gracefully joined me even though I knew he wanted to go home.

"Hey Xiao," He looked at me and I pointed towards the art booth decore as we walked by it. "It looks like you, right?"

He stopped walking and side-eyed me. "How do I look like a cat?"

I smiled at his expected response, "Because you're cute."

He scoffed and walked on ahead of me, stuffing his hands into his hoodie pockets. I noticed he tends to do that when flustered. I did a quick jog to catch up to him. "Xiao~" I called sweetly after him. When our paces finally matched again I could see a light red tint dusting his cheeks. "Let's hold hands."

I held my hand out to him and he took it after some brief consideration.

"Hmmm," I thought aloud. "I wonder if Childe found Scara yet.."

"That idiot-" Xiao was cut off by someone calling my name.

"(Y/n)!" Looking in the direction of the voice I could see Xiangling waving at us from a restaurant-themed booth. "Over here!"

"Xiangling!." I spoke as we approached her, "Your booth looks awesome."

"Thanks for saying that, I made all the decorations myself." Xiao and I took a closer look at her bear-themed decor. It really is very cute. This is when she seemed to notice our interlocked fingers. "Oh! Are you two finally together?"

I wasn't sure how to reply as we haven't technically labeled it yet. Surprisingly Xiao had an answer already.

"Yeah." He replied quietly.

"I knew you'd get together!" she said to us, as a group of students was approaching her booth. "Oh! Hello!"

I waved to Xiangling signaling to her that Xiao and I were leaving, she gave me a smile and a small wave back before returning her attention to the group of students.
