"Fugya! Get me out of this cage, you filthy humans!" the sudden voice from the tent frightens you. With adrenaline coursing through your veins, you quickly stand up and back away from the potential danger, clutching the cleaver tightly.

Unfortunately, Ace panics at the sudden voice and tries to back away, only to trip on his own ankle and almost fall to the ground. Your free hand shoots up from your side and you grab him by the front of his sweater, pulling him with a force that almost sends him flying toward you, but he's able to stop just as your noses collide.

"ACK!" "SORRY!" as if the two of you had touched fire, you recoil and almost jump away from each other, angry red blushes spreading across your faces. Fortunately, the embarrassing situation doesn't last long, as the voice inside the tent continues to complain about being let out.

"What the fuck is that?!" Ace asks in a hushed tone, shakily grabbing your arm. "From the size of the movement and the voice, it could be an Assimilation Beast," you turn to face the redhead whose face has gone pale. "Beast!? You mean like those things that tear people into tiny pieces!?" he looks at you in confusion and you shake your head quickly, trying to calm him down.

"No, it's not that kind of beast. An Assimilation Beast is very similar to a human, they can talk and even have desires and feelings. But they are often driven by their impulses and can be rebellious," you explain between breaths. "They usually act as companions for adventurers or explorers, and they can even transform into humans if they wish."

Your short class is interrupted by a sudden violent shake coming from the tent. The creature lets out a short growl and continues with its complaints. "HEY! I can hear you two! Let the Great Grimm out or I'll set this thing on fire!" though you forgot to add that most of the time, they aren't exactly bright.

The creature, calling itself "The Great Grimm", continues to shake and begins to make strange sounds. You and Ace look at each other, somewhat confused as to what you should do about it. Dealing with these types of beasts is kind off easy because they're usually passive, however, whatever is inside that tent is upset and restless as you assume it has been trapped there for several days. However, before you can even attempt to rationalize with the beast, a blue flame erupts from the opening of the tent and the fabric quickly catches on fire.

"GYAAAAAAAH! I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT!" the "Great Grimm" screeches in surprise and you hear next to you Ace muttering "fucking idiot". You quickly take off your jacket and your fingers find the bottle of water that was secured to the side of your bag.

Sprinting to the burning tent, you remove the cap from the bottle and pour the liquid at the main source of the fire, stomping hard on the rest of the fabric to quell the flames. It manages to calm the blaze enough for you to take out the cleaver and cut a hole in the tent, making it wide enough for you to squeeze your arm in.

Your eyes locate a small metal cage nestled among the blue flames, and you use your jacket to grab at the metal, removing the beast from danger while thinking that the material will at least prevent you from burning your fingers. However, you underestimate the heat of the beast's fire, as the flames quickly eat through the thick material of your jacket, scorching the tips of your fingers.

Unintentionally, you drop the cage with a hiss and it falls on top of the dirt, the creature inside complaining from the sudden fall as its' body bangs hard against the metal walls. You quietly apologize to the animal as you watch the tips of your fingers turn red, sighing in relief as it appears that the most you will suffer is a first-degree burn.
