Lena's view
"Here's your change Five, six, seven forty-three. Have a nice night." I smiled and handed a mother of two her change. The boys at her waist each held a thick icecream bar and their faces were both smeared in chocolate. She thanked me and walked her two sugared up twins out the shops doors. I locked the doors and shut off the lights after counting and closing the register.
Finally able to make my way upstairs I stopped in the kitchen for a water bottle and ran up enthusiastically to my room.
I hesitated at my door before I pushed it open and stepped in making sure to shut it quietly behind me.
I spun around in a circle happily, excited I was in my own room.
"Hello Lena..."
A deep lulling voice drifted past my ear stopping me in my tracks. My eyes caught the silhouette of a man. No a god. Sitting on the side of my bed. Piercing green eyes stared at me, his perfect lips were pulled up in the most enchanting smile, his dark chocolate brown hair shone in the light of my room reveiling smooth curls that resembled dark rolling sea waves. His body was wide and muscular, made to swim. His skin was tanned by the sun and salt of the ocean. He was the ocean.
"W-who... are you? I stammered nervously.
"I-...I-i am your husband" he spoke sounding just as nervous as i did.
He rose gracefully from his seat and came towards me slowly.
I instinctively threw the only thing in my hand. The ice cold water bottle, which he gently caught in his hand and dropped onto the floor next to him.
"Please...let me e-explain" he spoke in a deep humm of a voice.
I turned to run towards the door but before I could make a single step he was already blocking my way out.
"Get away from me!!" I screamed and punched his chest as hard as I could.
He caught my fists and gently wrapped his hands around my balled up fists.
"Lena...please I won't hurt you..." he hushed me in a soft voice.
"W-what do you want from me?" I cried quietly my voice breaking.
He tilted hid head to the side in thought for a minute before looking back at me.
"I want to know and love you. I know I am very... odd in my habits. I am not used to approaching humans... other than my mother."he chuckled and gently let go of my now unballed fists.
"W-what do you mean? Humans..." I asked backing away from him slowly.
