AN: Alright this chapter is long overdue! I'm so sorry that this has been on hold for awhile, literally writer's block is awful! Sometimes I'd have motivation to continue and then the next I wouldn't. An Author's worst nightmare! Anyways I hope you all like this next chapter of Woven Together! It's going to have the song Waiting on a Miracle in it, as I really like that song and liked to think of Fabian singing in it alongside Mirabel! I used from YouTube Scott Shattuck from Scott & Ryceejo cover of, this song with on YouTube as well the duet video Caelis_909 made splicing both his audio and the original as inspiration for Fabian's parts. Some changes being made to fit with the story. Bold is Fabian's verses and italics are Mirabel's, both are for both of them.
I wanted a dance scene with Fabian and Mirabel, so I tried putting that in as best i could lol! Thank you so much for reading this chapter even with the slow update. Your support are what inspire me to keep going! I have a semi plan for this story but I love hearing feedback.
Now for the disclaimer, I don't own Encanto nor the music and Waiting on a Miracle. All of that is owned by Disney! I only own Fabian and this fanfiction! Enjoy.

Fabian walked behind the majority of the crowd that all gathered to go inside the newly gifted Madrigal's room. He stayed away from pushing his way through, knowing he would be there eventually. After all he felt earlier, he really didn't want to draw attention to himself.
Walking up the stairs to the newly added room, everybody from the party had already gathered inside. And even if Fabian had stayed in Casita often enough to know of the magical rooms gifted to the Madrigals who received a gift were enormous. It still filled him with wonder every time he stepped into one of these rooms.
And Antonio's was no different from the rest. Befitting his new gift, the bedroom had a jungle theme. Where it literally was a jungle in his room!
An enormous tree stood proud and center in the middle of the room. With lights, waterfalls, obstacles, and more all around the tree and room. Already by far the most breathtaking room Fabian had ever seen in this house. It was perfect for little Antonio.
Speaking of the youngest child in the family, he watched from the back of the crowd where he could even see that the small boy was riding the back of a jaguar all around his room. His gift allowing him to now speak with the big cat that showed him around. Until it ran all the way back over to everyone, where his family cheered and hollered with all the other people.
When the cat returned, it let Antonio off to the awaiting arms of his parents. Where Pepa kissed and hugged her baby's face, and Felix hugged his family together. Camilo and Dolores gathered with them, so proud of their little brother...
That aching feeling returned inside Fabian's chest.
He had to find Mirabel. There was no time or reason to feel these old feelings when there was something else to worry about.
Searching for his curly haired best friend was easy when people gathered closer around the excited family, and she was the only one standing there. Staring at her family, as he was.
"I knew you could do it," he heard Abuela Alma say to Antonio, kneeling down to his height to congratulate him. "A gift, just as special as you are."
The tension within Mirabel's shoulders, he could see it tighten, as he felt that drop in his stomach as well. Those choice words, stung like a knife he was sure. Going over to her, Fabian lightly brushed his hand on her arm, to signal he was there. He was there with her, next to her.
"Mira?" He asked softly, wanting to talk to her. But all she did was look at him, give a small smile, that he right away knew was fake.
"Quick, we need a picture! To remember this wonderful night! The night our Encanto was strengthened!" Alma Madrigal announced to the crowd, bringing them all closer while the family stood in front. The family, except for Mirabel.
