AN: Oh man, it has been a VERY LONG hot minute since I've updated!! I am extremely sorry, I just really had no more passion to write. Yes for about two years. I was also traveling still and was graduating college while also working. Suffice to say, my brain was pooped. Plus this chapter was very much a filler chapter as I really wanted this part to be done before I got into the more interesting parts of Fabian interacting more with the family Madrigal! I got to write though him talking to Camilo which was fun! And I have big plans for next chapter~.

But the main thing I was worried about was whether or not anyone would even be still interested in reading my story or any of my stories. Some things happened where I didn't feel good enough to write and that who would want to even read what I put. It was Imposter Syndrome at its finest I will say. Sorry for the ramble there, I just had to buckle myself down and say that even if no one reads these, I'm still enjoying what I do and will continue to practice and write more! And for those of you who made it this far and have stuck around for so long, you guys are why I keep on going and remember the fun this is! So I can't thank you guys enough!

Anyways, now onto this chapter! Like I said, it's filler in my opinion but fleshes out Fabian a little more! And speaking of my Disney boy, up top is what I picture him to look like! I used AI art (I don't support it as an artist myself!!) But I was curious on how he would be pictured and I like how he looks so far! Maybe I'll draw him one day myself. Hope you all like Chapter 4! Remember I don't own Encanto for the movie is owned by Disney! I only own Fabian, his family, and this story!!

It was late in the evening as the party for Antonio's gift ceremony had finally began to die down. There were a few people of the village that remained to congratulate the family on the new gift, how it would indeed help Encanto. But for the most part, everyone was getting ready to go home.

Fabian, however, spent the rest of the party in Camilo's room. Now in spare pajamas he kept at Casita for the sleepovers he would have with the owner of this grand room. Mirabel had gone to her room to sleep so there wasn't much to do for the rest of the night. Though Fabian sat in the enormous bedroom made for only one person, laying on the floor beside his friend's bed. Staring up at the ceiling of the grand stage front and center of the larger than the whole house room.

As he continuously just threw the small ball he found, up into the air, watching it fall down back into his hand. Doing this one handed, with his other arm being a makeshift pillow for his head.

The reflection of the ball kept appearing every time he threw it from all the mirrors that hung on the walls and down from the ceiling. Each one pointed towards the stage with the bed right on the center stage. Lights up top of the room that looked like spotlights illuminated everything.

It was indeed a very fitting room for the showy shapeshifter. However, all thoughts were only on what had happened with Casita that replayed in Fabian's head. With the cracks that had appeared and then disappeared right before his eyes. Then to how Mirabel's Abuela reacted to it. Something just didn't seem right to Fabian.

He caught the ball open final time before holding it close to his chest and sighing.

The door to the room bursted open however, and in came Felix Madrigal dancing still to the music that played around the house. He did some subtle moves and looked at the only occupant of his son's large room that his best friend resided in at the moment, "Fabian! Mijo! What are you doing here all by yourself? Come out and enjoy the party!"

Mirabel's fun uncle started while trying to lighten Fabian's mood. He wasn't surprised by the nickname either. Felix and Pepa Madrigal, like the other parental figures of the family, treated Fabian as if he was one of their own after the disappearance of his own family. Probably feeling bad for the poor kid who was all alone since he was just a small child. It was nice to say the least, it made him feel like he was being accepted by them, even if he still didn't feel it was right.
