Y/n POV
I jolt up from bed due to the fact that my alarm sounds like a fire alarm. Since I'm a heavy sleeper, my parents installed me this new alarm clock that causes me to have a heart attack every time I wake up. Which is absurd, since Mike is the one who is making us late all the time. I drag myself to the bathroom and brush my teeth along with my hair and do my makeup, which isn't much or so I tell myself. I grab my outfit I had planned out.

As I throw my hair in a high ponytail, pulling the front pieces of hair out, I check the time. 7:35!!! WTF I SWEAR TIME IS FUCKING WITH ME! I grab my bag and rush down stairs grabbing a banana and a protein shake from the fridge, I see that Mike is still not downstairs, ugh I swear I'm gonna kill him!! "MIKE HURRY UP IF YOU ARE NOT DOWN HERE IN 2 SECONDS I'M LEAVING YOUR ASS!!" I yell at him from the bottom of the stairs. I wait a good 3 minutes then I storm up there and pound on his door. "MICHEAL WHEELER WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING I CAN'T BE LATE AGAIN" I shout through the door. A few seconds later the door swings open and Mike looks at me,rolls his eyes, then pushes past me. Oh no he didn't I walk up behind him and give him a smack on the back of the head. "You're a dick you know that" Mike says rubbing the back of his head, "yeah well I'm a dick that's gonna graduate this year and I can't do that if every day I'm late" I reply as I jog down the stairs and out the front door, Mike following behind.

As we arrive at school I tell Mike bye and I love him even though he never says it back then I meet up with my best friends, Mia & Destiny. "Girl, did you hear Jason is thinking of asking you to prom?!?!" Mia says jumping with excitement, I roll my eyes " I don't even know if I'm going, finals are going to be a couple weeks after and I need to study, plus Jason is a total douche and only wants to go because he's counting on me being drunk and have sex with him" I utter as I pick at my nails "not going?!? Girl this is going to be a HUUUUGE night you have to plus you are like the smartest student in the school you have nothing to worry about!!" Destiny replies eating her cereal bar. I smile at her then the bell rings we say our goodbyes then I head to first period.
As always I get my test from last week and I aced it then I get my worksheet back from yesterday, aced it again!! "Keep up the great work" my teacher Ms. Hellen says as she gives me a thumbs up and a smile. I smile back and take out my book that I just got from the library.

Hours go by and then it's lunchtime I walk down to the cafeteria taking the long ways as it is less crowded. Once I get there I go to the cheerleaders table where my besties saved me a seat between them, I sit and we start talking about the latest drama and events coming up. I pull out my homework and start to work on it so I can get a head start. "Really homework at lunch?!?" Mia asks annoyed and snatched my paper from me. My eyes shoot up at her "Mia c'mon you know I need to finish it, Mr.Hall is an asshole and it's better to be early" I say snatching my paper back and put it my folder. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn around and it's Jason, great. I turn back to my friends and give them the look then I turn back to Jason "hey Y/N can I talk with you for a second?" Jason asks me running his fingers through his hair, don't get me wrong he's cute but his personality not so much. I nod and get up following him to the hall. "So I know we don't talk much but I would like to get to know you better, so with that being said would you like to go out on a date with me?" He asks fixing his collar, I was taken back a little and even more so that I wanted to say no but I struggled saying no my whole life I felt bad saying no so I said yes and he smiled told me the date and time I agreed and we went on our way. As I made my way back to my table and sit down my friends are burning holes in my skin. "Soooooo, what did he say?" They both eagerly ask me, I roll my eyes playfully at how interested they were "he asked me on a date and I said yes" I reply and they squeal with excitement "only because I felt cornered" I mutter playing with my necklace. "Girl he is like the KING of Hawkins and you are the QUEEN" I shake my head and look down then my phone chimes, I look at it and it's my nagging brother Mike asking me to come over to his table.

I ask him why and for him to just tell me over the phone but he insisted so I roll my eyes and huff then tell my friends I have to go. He's gonna take up my whole lunch period. I walk over to his lunch table with an annoyed face. He pats a seat next to him and I sigh hoping I would have to stay long. "Okay so you know how you are the best sister ever?" He asks me with a smile I roll my eyes knowing he wants a favor from me. "What do you want?" I ask obviously aggravated, "well we or I need a place to host this show at and you have your friend Destiny who's dad owns an outdoor stage place that is perfect" he replies and he fiddles with his fingers. "So after giving all this attitude this morning you want me to do you a favor?" I ask shock that he would even ask, "yes?" He says hesitantly. "What's in it for me?" I ask crossing my arms, "I'll do your chores for a month and cover for you when you sneak out to go out to the bar" he replies, I sit there thinking for a while then I give in and say yes. "What do you need it for anyways?" I ask curious why my loser brother would need a stage outdoors. "For my sick show tomorrow night" a chilling voice answers from behind me. I look back quickly to see the one and only Eddie Munson, he's known as the town freak and a devil worshipper but he is so hot that he could sacrifice me to satan and I would thank him. Wow Y/n where did that come from get ahold of yourself, this man is trouble. I give him a soft smile and turn back to Mike giving a 'really?' look. He knows what our parents think of Eddie it was bad enough he was hanging around him without my parents knowledge. Lord knows my parents would flip their shit if they knew Eddie was with 2 feet of me or my brother. "Well if that's all you need me for I'll be on my way" I speak as I get up and start to walk away. "Wait!" Eddie exclaims as he reaches for my shoulder causing a few students to stare at us I turn back around. "Uh I w-was wondering if y-you would want to come to my concert tomorrow if your friends says yes" he mutters as he says nervously playing with the rings on his fingers. I look at him and smile which causes his face to turn red, "yeah sounds great" I reply and walk off, why would I say yes? My mom and dad would go ape shit if they knew I would be going out to his concert. They think he is satan in human form! If he is he is a hot satan. I go back to my table and ask Destiny if here dad would let us use the space, her dad is a huge pushover and totally loaded plus he left Destiny when she was 2 for a secretary then came back 9 years later and has been trying to buy her love back every since. Destiny doesn't seem to mind she said and I quote ' why shouldn't I milk him for all the money he has? He owes it to me!' And I mean i would do the exact same! She says of course and confirms with her dad. I text Mike to tell him that she said yes he gives me a thumbs up and I carry on with my day.
