I then walk into the bathroom and put my clothes and towel down on the sink counter. I let out a huff and turn on the water to a little hotter that luke warm, yes it was summer but my house is freezing. I slip on my air forces with my butterfly anklet. I do my makeup, a little concealer, a little bronzer and some blush. Can't forget mascara and pink-tinted lipgloss. I look at my self in the mirror and fix my hair a little before giving myself a smile and a thumbs up. I go back to my bed and sit down scrolling through TikTok, before my mom comes up and knocks on my door, "yeah?" I call out not wanting to get up. "I just got called into work and your dad is gonna be out with your uncle Ron so can you please watch over Mike it's gonna be another over night shift" she asks, I really don't have an option it's not like dad is gonna cancel his plans to watch his own kid.
