Eddie's POV

I get a text from Mike asking if I can take him home. I agree, just wanting to see her. I know I act like I don't give a fuck. Which I don't but when it comes to her all I do is care. I don't know how to show it, after our first fight. It hurt. A lot. She said she could never be with me. A person like me. I know I'm not a parents ideal boyfriend for their kid but I'm human and I have feelings and I can love just like anyone else. Hell, I love more than douche bags like Jason and his meat-head friends.

I want her. I long for her, she's my light. When I'm around her. My heart beats 100 beats per minute, my body feels all tingly. I've never felt like this for anyone, ever. I just want to spend ever second with her. She's the first thing I think about in the morning when I wake up, she's in my dreams, the last thing I think about before falling asleep. When she touches me my skin is like fire. Her kisses send electricity through my body. I love her.

After school I rush out to my van anxiously waiting for Mike to come out so I can see her. The last thing I saw was tears in her pretty eyes. God, I never wanted to make her cry. Not in a non-pleasurable way. I know that we could never be together, since her parents hate me and she does whatever they say, but I'll die trying. Mike knocks on my window making me snap out of my thoughts and unlock the door. "Okay, let's go" he says and I nod driving off. As I pull up he gets out but I stop him. "I have to talk to her" I tell him and he shakes his head. "I don't think she wants to talk" Mike replies. "I wasn't asking I was telling" I state getting out of the van.

"No like she's pretty upset" Mike says but I ignore him. "Just open the door" I demand and he gulps opening the door. I walking inside and take a deep breath. I walk up the stairs, Mike following me. I knock on her door, "who is it?" I hear her call out from the inside. I point to Mike gesturing for him to speak. He shakes his head and I give him a death glare. "It's me gotta show you something" Mike says hesitantly before bolting to his room. I hear shuffling from in the room then the door unlocking. I open the door and her back is turned walking back to her bed. "What do- what the fuck" she says as she finally sees who is at her door. "Wait, princess, please just let me talk to you okay?" I ask pleadingly. "2 minutes, Munson" she replies with a sigh.

"Look, I'm sorry, I don't know exactly what for. I don't know what I did wrong just please tell me" I ask sitting next to her on the bed. I can see her tense up. "I c-can't" she answers looking at her fingers. "Baby ple-" I try to speak but she interrupts me, "stop. Stop with that. The baby and the princess and the sweetheart" she exclaims tears forming in her eyes. "Okay, can I ask why? You used to blush and smile at those names" I ask but she just looks away. "I'm just really confused here, y/n" I say. "You are sending mixed signals one minute you are in my van and then you are ignoring me. I don't know what going on." I state trying to look at her but she just looks down. "I- can't. I don't understand either!" She says her voice breaks as tears fall down her face. "Please don't cry ba- y/n, look what ever I did I'm sorry" I voice trying to get her to stop crying. It pains me for her to cry.

"Your 2 minutes are up, Eddie" she's says wiping her tears, but they are replaced my new ones. "Wait" I say trying to negotiate. She shakes her head getting up and opening the door. "2 minute are up" she says looking at the door. I sigh getting up and walking out. She shuts the door, I hear it lock and then her sobs that are muffled out. I feel tears forming in my eyes and I walk downstairs heading in my car. I cry in my steering wheel. Before driving off. Mike texts me telling me that y/n called off the project work at her house. Great now I'm stuck with Jason. Fuck the project. Homecoming is a couple weeks away. I want to ask her. I'm not the school dance type, it's usually lame but it's the meaning being it. Right? I get to my trailer and lock myself in my room.

I guess I sulked myself to sleep as I woke up to a call. I looked at the name not planning on answering it until I seen the name. 'My Princess' is calling, I quickly answer it. "Hey. Is everything okay?" I asked concerned. "Yeah, can you meet me at our spot at Lovers Lake?" She asks. "Yeah, give me 10 minutes" I reply. "Okay" she says hanging up. I let out a hopeful sigh and get up, putting on my shoes and make sure my hair wasn't totally crazy, not that I tamed it well anyways. I grab my keys and phone, before getting in my car and driving to Lovers Lake.
