Best Friends to Lovers

"I'll never hurt you y/n. I promise."

   "Eddie I-" You start to feel nervous. The butterflies are coming back. Eddie is looking at you dead in the eye, with only a few inches away from your face. You have nothing to say, you want to say something, but you just cant.
   "Please y/n. I need you." You could tell Eddie means it. He really does need you, and you know you need him too, but you want him, you don't need him.
   Eddie is giving you a stare, a stare that tells you to just kiss him already. You stare back at Eddie, as he starts to put his hands on your waist. He starts to pull you in closer staring deeper into your eyes.
  "Please." Eddie practically begs you to do so. You stare to his eyes, then his lips, back to his eyes.
"Eddie." This is going to take a BIG turn.
"Yes princess." Eddie whisper back to you, in your ear.
"Will you-." The words won't come out of your mouth.
"Will I what love?"
"Will...will you be..my boyfriend?" The words finally came out. Eddie stares at you for a phew seconds then starts to smile, pulling you in for the biggest hug of your life.
   "I would love to be your boyfriend y/n. Always and forever my love." Eddie then pulls away from the hug, as he stares at your lips. You notice him looking at your lips, you know he wants to kiss you, but he wouldn't kiss you without your permission. So you did it for him. You pull him in closer by his hell fire t-shirt, starting to kiss him. He kisses you back.
    You both start to passionately kiss. You start to smile during the kiss, and so does Eddie.
  "Y/n, you do not know how long I've been wanting to do this."
"Oh, trust me I know." You both start to kiss more aggressively. Eddie then pushes you into the wall, making you gasp. He starts to take off your shirt, then you realize whats about to happen.
     "Eddie...I can't, I'm not ready." You then pulled away feeling a little embarrassed. Eddie starts to realize that you weren't actually ready to have sex with him.
  "Oh my gosh y/n I'm so soryy. I didn't mean to push you. I-" You can see how much Eddie actually cares. You start to feel bad.
  "No no, it's ok. I'll be ready one day trust me, and when I am I'll tell you." Eddie looks at you. It looks like he's about to cry because he pushed you. You realize the tears starting to fall from his face. You start to walk and give him a hug.
  "I'll never hurt you y/n. I promise."
"And I'll never hurt you Edward Munson." Eddie pulls away from the hug and starts to walk away. You start to laugh.
   "Haha Ed I'm sorry. Please come back! I said I'm sorry." He walks out of the room and closes the door. You can tell he didn't actually like that. You start to follow him out on the front porch.
  "Hey. Is everything ok Ed?"
  "Not really y/n."
  "Whats wrong? If I did something wrong then I'm super duper sorry."
  "No no sweetie you did nothing wrong. I just don't like being called Edward, even the name Edward makes me want to break down."
  "Why?"
  "Well y/n. Everyone in middle school made fun of my original name, Edward. So I started to play D&D. I was in a whole world. Just you, me, and weird monsters, or villains that came from a game. Then thats when I came up with the name Eddie. I told everyone that my name was Eddie, and also told them that I played a cool game named D&D. Then they started to call me Eddie The freak Munson." Eddie starts to break down. Tears running down his face nonstop.
  "Oh Eddie baby, I'm so sorry. I'll never call you that again." You say while pulling him in close for a hug. "Wanna go out to eat with Robin and Steve? I said I'll go with them if only you wanted to."
  "Sure sweetheart. I'll go." Eddie says while kissing your forehead.
