On the other hand, as the busy morning hours of the weekdays go on, Thayfa with his restless mind and body, though uneasy as well, he never thought he would be back into this mansion he once walked away from, his ex-fiancé's place. He isn't here to be reconciling with her and put that ring back on his finger. He isn't here to take back his words he already threw to her. But he is here to confront her of all the wrongdoings she caused Yumi, and probably will cause her more if not provoked.
As if she's anticipating his arrival, Thayfa found his ex-fiancé pacing around the mansion's garden in the front yard and no one is around but her, not even the bodyguards she usually have around her aren't in the area to surround her. She isn't wearing an expression of calm despite having all these pleasant and fragrant flowers everywhere but she has her dying eyes as she stares at them, those tired eyes from crying and from a night that all she wanted was Thayfa's love.
"Hey..." Thayfa finally voiced and made his presence known from a distance.
For the first time of the day, the woman smiled but disappeared when Thayfa put a hand up to stop her from approaching nearer. Because of his distant actions, her foul mood came back written all over her face as she asks, "What are you doing here?"
"I just came here to ask you to stop harassing Yumi and her business. I know you're behind the attack at the café. There's no one else who could do that but you. However, I don't know if you have more plans to destroy her that's why I'm here to tell you that if ever you have more, please stop. It's me who caused you pain, not her. I should be the one you're taking revenge from and not her." Thayfa said straightforward with his fists clenching on his sides.
But the woman rolled her eyes in disbelief, snorting, "I can't believe you're still protecting that woman. She doesn't even love you anymore and perhaps she hates you more than before now."
"I don't care if she hates me to death. I understand if she does but I won't give up on her too. I just want you to stop with this obsession you have on Yumi." Thayfa groaned after being mocked by his fiancé's devilish smirks.
"I will if you come back to me." She dared him and made Thayfa's eyes wide at his, obviously shocked at her challenge which only made her laugh louder. "If only you can see yourself right now Thayfa. You're so helpless... pathetic... coward... naïve..." She then said word by word as she goes on pacing in circles in the garden.
Thayfa never liked being called in such ways for he himself knows he's been trying to break these chains binding him. Thus, he bravely threatens though trembling as he speaks, "I'll tell the police about what you did!"
"Do you have evidence that I did it, that I ordered people to do it? Or you're just accusing me because you're frustrated that there's no way you can help Yumi anymore and that you cannot get her trust back anymore?" She questioned in a confident mocking grin and this brought Thayfa into a complete defeat as he returned none. "And even if you found evidence that I did it, and once you open that big mouth of yours to the police, let me just remind you again of who I am. I know a lot more about you and I can easily destroy you too, like how I destroyed your precious ex-girlfriend." She then said and gave Thayfa her deadliest look.
"Damn you..." Thayfa was shaken up as he couldn't do anything but to contemplate in his stand.
Seeing him in defeat is so pleasing to her eyes, finally getting that revenge on him that she wanted to let him feel. And she wants more of Thayfa's downfall, she wants to see more of those falling eyes from him and so she triggers him more, "Why are you trying to make an effort for Yumi anyway? Didn't she already throw you away long time ago? Do you expect she'll still love you by being this heroic? And oh, I have some tea for you. Yumi already has her eyes on someone and definitely it's not you."
