It had grown to be day, the bad weather had disappeared not after I had finished my praying but I somehow knew it was coming back. Right now I was drinking my third bloodbag, every time I shugged the blood down I felt my muscles empower to later become stronger. Sure, I had stopped drinking human blood since I moved in. But if I was going to participate in a fight I needed the strength, I was afterall more vulnarable than the rest of my family. A single twist could crack my neck and a kick could break my spine. 

With a smirk on my lips, my monstrous eyes on full display and my lips slightly red from the blood I cracked my neck. I rolled my shoulders, flexed my muscles and grinned like a mad man.

"That feelt good."

Even though I had been alive for a very long time I could never fully commit to the animal blood diet. First of all, I needed to feed much more frequently than the others otherwise my body would react as if I got sick. Secondly, animal blood never managed to get my body to its full strength, with my dad after us I always took precautions with that and fed from blodbags. Thirdly, it took a few months for the body to get used to the animal blood diet. The first times you almost puked the blood up, and some of the times you did indeed vomit it up. You needed to get the body used to the blood, but it took a while to do so. 

Bella walked down the stairs with Edward on her heels, backpacks on their back and Izzy wore a jacket. She watched me with an intruiged gaze and I felt my black eyes retreat before I looked at her with my blue ones.

"How does the animal diet word for you? Is it the same as with everyone else? You never really told anyone about it."

I threw the bloodbag into the trashbin beside the kitchen island and answered her.

"Why hello there engaged future Mrs Cullen!"

Her whole face turned beet red and I smirked as a reply.

"I was wondering why it took so long for Edward to ask you-"

I began to answer her question.

"-It's a little different. Not by much but it takes a few month for me to get used to the animal blood, other than that it's practically the same."

Jasper walked into the room, completely unbothered by the human blood scent lingering in the air. It made a proud smile blossom on my lips, and without a question he returned my smile with his own. He was followed by almost everyone else, Carlisle walked around the counter to stand beside me. His arm wrapped around my waist and I placed my arm around his, his eyes looked over everyone and he nodded before he spoke.

"Alright. With the wolves on our side this should be a fairly easy fight..."

I knew he didn't like the thought of killing any creature, even an evil soul. A sympathetic smile turned my lips up and I dived into the convo.

"You know... No one of you needs to kill anyone, leave them to me. I already have blood on my hands, a few newborns won't add much to it. Just say the word and I will take them, okay?"

I knew no one in this family liked to kill anyone, and of course I didn't either. But I would do anything, and I mean anything, to ensure the saftey of them. And plus, a few newborns created to kill my family wouldn't be heard to kill. I'd done worse, so I didn't bat an eye to what I said. Jasper also decided to add to my sentence, and it looked like the both of us were on the same page.

"The same goes for me."

Everyones tense postures relaxed only a bit and I saw relief flood into their eyes. They had all been scared about the idea of killing someone, and it warmed my heart how they loathed the thought of ending someones life. Carlisle again continued on his first sentence, this time with a more light tone.
