Standing starring out the window, looking at the alpha leader through the trees, that was how I spent my night. My hands was placed against a table beside me to keep me from falling if that was the case, my legs begun to feel hollow and the world spun around me more than before. My face and skin had turned a few shades paler, a purple undertone made me look sick and blue eyebags were under my eyes. My veins were beginning to dry out, and I knew if my idea would work it needed to be done soon.
Jacob sat beside Bella in the sofa, warming her very small body up. Everyone in the room stared at them, surveilling them with hawk eyes. I was the only one who didn't have my eyes on them, because as always I had begun to zone out. I could still hear Bella taking a sharp intake of breath, she let out painful gasps and Edward held a bucket in front of her. If she had anything in her system she would have vomited, no doubt. But since that wasn't the case the bucket remained empty. I heard Esmes worried tone as she put her worries into words.
"We need to find a way to get some food into her system..."
My thoughts began to peak, but I still litened to Alice.
"If I could only see the fetus-"
Rosalie broke her off.
"Baby."
"-Maybe I could figure out what it wants."
Then it clicked. Vampires crave blood. The dream, she hinted it for me and I had been so stupid not to even make the connection. Still staring out the window I answered her question with a low tone.
"Blood."
All the eyes snapped to me, and I made my sentence more understandable.
"Vampire crave blood. The child is half vampire, it thirsts after blood."
Jacob had a lazy grin on his lips as he tilted his head and answered me.
"Glad we're on the same page granny."
I left my spot and began to walk out of the room, with the help of the walls as support I made my way towards Carlisles hospital room. He followed me with a confused gaze, and I knew he was about to ask what I was doing. Before he had the chance to I had walked into the room, my eyes immediately found empty bloodbags in the far corner and some IV stands. With the speed I had left I zoomed over to them and grabbed ahold of a few dozen, along with those taking the two IV stands. This was where Carlisle asked me what I was doing, and I had no trouble answering.
"What are you doing darling?"
"She needs blood, my blood heals. I will give her a bloodtransfusion, but before I do that I need to see if her blood is compatible with my body."
I began to walk out of the room, my head began to spin and I shot my hand out for the nearest wall. Carlisle immediately grabbed my waist and held me still before he spoke.
"I will take those for you."
He took the IV stands and the bloodbags and began to make his way into the living room, while he did that I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a small knife and a glass. The world still spun around me as I walked into the living room with surprisingly determined steps. I made my way towards the human girl and spoke to everyone.
"Get out of the room, you will smell her blood."
Jasper, Emmett, Alice and Dylan left immediately. Everyone else along with myself being the only people left. I looked up at the fragile human girl with a warm expression and took her hand gently in mine.
"It will hurt, but I will heal you after. Alright?"
She nodded her head without any question and as gently as I could cut her palm open. She sucked in a breath and winced, red liquid fell into the glass and began to fill it up. But what surprised me was the colour of her blood, it was more of a purple like hue than a deep red like liquid. With a bite to my wrist I placed it in front of her mouth and she immediately drunk the blood. Her ribs snatched in place, her palm healed and she began to look a lot healthier. Her skin was not the same pale gray colour as before, it had turned more warm. And that was thanks to a few drops of my blood.
