Adelina.

"Ate!"

I blinked and took my sight away from the now-gone man.

"You're saying?"

The people there have their own systems for obtaining books from all around the realms.

They are also in charge of acquiring stocks from the mortal realm, however most are not available to the public without a pass or badge from Mistress Elizabeth, the magistrate of education.

"I see.

She excitedly exclaimed.

"Bakit pati ako ay kasama? Wala akong invitation pa-"

"Ate naman. Baka nakakalimutan mo kung sino ka?"

Napangiwi ako at tumango na lamang.

Normal Navis require a pass for practically everything they need to do and attend, whereas we are the passes ourselves.

An unjust treatment that I hope is soon got rid of or, at least, lessened. After all, my biggest goal is to be of help in the stabilization of the lives of our people.

I don't want them to assume that our positions exist solely for the sake of showing our superiority. I want them to believe that we are here to work together with them, to make their lives easier, to provide the help they call for and to sustain the resources that they need to have.

"Ano na naman bang iniisip mo, ate?" Sabay tampal ni Ophelia sa aking pisngi.

"Just things."

"Just things mo mukha mo. Please, stop thinking about work. We are here to enjoy."

"Wala naman ako sinabing hindi?"

"Anong wala?" She frowned, "Kanina ko pa pinapakita 'tong damit ko pero ni tingin hindi mo man lang nagawa?"

Wow. She even stomped her feet.

"I'm sorry, okay?" I said, chuckling, "That's beautiful," pointing to the dress she's holding in front of her body.

"Really? I don't think it's suited for the event though."

Hmm. Indeed, the lengthy garment she's eyeing is a little too formal for the exhibition.

I marched towards the clothes hung on the wall, hoping to find a more suitable outfit for my sister.

Fortunately, something piqued my interest.

"Excuse me," I said, drawing the attention of the fae or female fairy that runs the store to what I wanted.

It is a baby pink patterned two piece set in which the top is a ruffled long sleeved butterfly with only two ties in the middle of the chest area and the bottom is a low waist body hugging long skirt.
