I always believed in happy endings since I grew up watching Disney animations. I obviously focused on the actual happy endings and hoped that one day, I would get my happy ending. Then again, life has no script and the situations we end up in depend on the choices we make.
I watched Ana as she got dressed and helped her with the strings at the back. Her sleeveless dress was plain white with no sort of jewel or lace added. And of course, we all might be thinking of The Duchess of Sussex and her elegant simple dress but let's take our minds off that and focus on Ana's. The only accessory she added was the pearl necklace set, earrings included, that Suho got her for her 21st birthday. Her braided hair was in a bun and her full lips were in her signature red lipstick by Sephora.
"How do I look?" She asked as we stood in front of the full-length mirror in her room.
"Priceless," I said. "It's how you always imagined it."
"So, everyone is waiting at the church?" She asked me, taking one last look at the mirror.
"Just as you requested," I said smiling. We wanted everyone to see her for the first time and at the same time.

I walked down the aisle arm in arm with Matt and we were followed by Ana's sister Gina, arm in arm with my brother Jared, of course, and finally Ana. Michael and Olivia, her parents, each took an arm and presented her to Tae Oppa who presented her to Suho. They both read their vows that they secretly worked on and when they kissed, we all stood up and cheered. I loved when they both ended their vows with the following words,
"May we trust each other fully and may the openness of our love help us both grow through our happiness and pain— SRD14"
"So, what do you think of them?" Matt asked as we sipped apple cider by the open bar.
"Well, at least going to the club that day brought so much light into both our lives," I replied, recalling how they both met.
"Funny enough, I'm the one who coaxed Suho to go to the club that day," he said looking over at them as they chatted with the crowd.
"Then I guess we are an outstanding backstage team," I said, raising my glass.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked putting his glass down and stretching out his hand towards me as the song switched to Song for Love by Lyn.
"Sure," I said flushing a bit.
As we danced, with three inches between us, I could not help but feel calm. My best friend was married and I, in the arms of a very nice gentleman whom I'd grown fond of, all because we'd decided to Socialize.
