"Did you read about the news today? Apparently, there's a new God in the business circle."

"Huanhuan, you know I don't read that kind of news..."

"Shush, I'm talking. Basically, this person's first appearance was only about a week or two ago and now, they're probably the richest person in Asia!"

"Woah, you can earn money that quickly? You're shitting me, right?"

"Don't be stupid, I said new God, didn't I? Not everyone can do something like this, SY is literally my idol now."

"A fucking name is your idol, sure."

"Oh, fuck you."

"Who the hell is SY?!" Wen Lianhua nearly screeched at how frustrated she was. "System! You answer me right now, you said that you're the best at stock speculating because you can analyse it or whatever, and yet look at what's happening right now!? This SY overtook you! Have I been feeding you daily points for fun?"

"I have informed Hose that I was the best amongst everyone who was speculating in stocks during that time when we first began," a mechanical voice informed monotonously. "As I have mentioned as well, this does not mean I will be able to beat a genius or someone who is naturally lucky. Even if you're lower than SY, you're still 2nd richest in Asia, aren't you?"

"The deal was for me to be Number 1 in Asia," Wen Lianhua gritted out.

"You were Number 1, I never said anything about maintaining it indefinitely. Our deal remains as promised," The colder the mechanical voice, the more Wen Lianhua felt as if she was truly dumb to strike that kind of deal with it.

Before, when they first signed a contract, it was merely to help tutor and lead her to the pinnacle of life and yet she was talked into sharing points for the sake of being the richest in this world. Her hard-earned points! It has a conversion rate of 1 point to 10 USD! Every day she had to spit out 100 points to ensure that the system would continue the maintain the stock market. She was so busy with everything else, where would she have the time to worry about the stock market?

And now, everything seemed like a waste. She was kicked down by this SY nobody from her hard-earned ranking and her title of 'God of Wealth' was like a mockery now.

"You're worrying too much, nobody cares about the drop in rank." The System stated. "SY came out of nowhere, he may hold the title of the richest but as of now, you're still the most influential. Also, I am capable of beating SY. A human is still never going to measure up to a System."

"Fine, I'll believe this for now," Wen Lianhua sneered. She was a perfectionist (liar), so she refused to remain at rank two. She didn't believe that her system would lose to a human twice in a row. "Make sure I'm ranked first again by the time Luo Sheng finds out about my identity."

"...You want to raise him?" The System questioned, its mechanical voice sounding almost confused.

"Having a pet private scientist is pretty niche, don't you think?"

"Is she sick in the head?" Lan Xing stared at the report, face pale but expression contorted into disgust. "I haven't even known of her existence until like two weeks ago, what kind of hatred does she have against me?"

On the table in the police bureau, sitting across from Lan Xing was He Shinyi, and right on the table were three people's information. Wen Lianhua, Ye Jun, and Luo Sheng are the names of the people in accordance with the number of cyber crimes they have committed against her. This was hilarious because the only person Lan Xing had actually even spoken to was Ye Jun.

"You really have never spoken to Miss Wen Lianhua before?" He Shinyi asked, needing a confirmation. She had a pen and paper in hand, a recorder placed on the table. With permission, everything happening in this room at the moment is recorded.

"No!" Lan Xing couldn't help but express her frustration. "The only person I know is Ye Jun and it's because I dated that bastard. I only knew about Wen Lianhua's existence on the day we broke up, apparently, she's his white moonlight or some other bullshit romance novel crap. And Luo Sheng? Never even heard of his name."

"You don't recognise Luo Sheng at all?" He Shinyi blinked, unperturbed. 

"Am I supposed to?" Lan Xing demanded.

He Shinyi looked up something on her phone quickly and then slid it over. Lan Xing picked it up and scanned the article, every word making her eyes widen. She finished reading and placed the phone down, befuddlement colouring her facial expressions.

"No, he's that Luo Sheng? The one who everyone praised to be our country's Einstein?" Lan Xing gripped her head. "This makes me even more confused, alright, where even would I have the time or place to meet someone like this? I don't owe any of them anything!"

"Calm down, Miss Lan Xing," He Shinyi's voice was like a warm hug and it instantly made Lan Xing change from her mildly agitated state to a much calmer one. She continued speaking once she saw that Lan Xing was calmed. "We've recorded your transcript, don't worry, everything will be fine."

"I will protect you." He Shinyi said it with so much resolve that for a second there, Lan Xing could feel her own heart skip a beat.

Shen Yi paused in his eating, squinting at the laptop screen. The graph line fell indicating that the market stock pummelled, his lips curved up into a satisfied smile and watched as if it began to fall. Instability it had been for the past week, every day he checked to see it fall a couple of points and raise a couple of points but never profiting.

But today, it began to show a massive drop. A significant drop, enough that anyone who paid attention would notice it. Once this happens, it will start dropping even more until hitting rock bottom. And when Ye Jun's company is on the verge of bankruptcy, the 'kindhearted' female lead will swoop in and help out of the goodwill of her heart.

Shen Yi smiled and sold half of the shares he owned in Ye Jun's company. Well, he never did say that he won't contribute to the drop.
