I landed just after midnight and I took the rented car to the hotel, I'll be staying at. It's beautiful. Tomorrow, I'll go to the precint and meet up with the Alpha/Sheriff. I ordered room servace and then went to bed.

The following morning I walked into the precinct and went up to the front desk. Where there are two receptionist.

"Can I help you?" The man asked.

I showed my ID. "I'm Cathrine Kaynine, P.I, I'm here to see Sheriff Spike."

"Oh, Miss. Kaynine, follow me." The guy stood up.

I followed the man through the offices. Everyone was looking at me but I'm use to it.

The cop turned at the other cops. "Get back to work. Sheriff Spike will have your tails." Then they went back to what they were doing.

I'll tell you how this will happen, it always does: I'll meet the Sheriff, who is also the Alpha of the Florida pack, once he gives me the assignment then he'll come out and get everyone's attention and announce that I'm the New York Alpha's niece and not to be messed with. Then everyone treats me nice.

The man knocked on the door. "Sir, Miss. Kaynine."

"Send her in." The man stepped aside and I walked in. "Cathrine. You looked so grown up. I haven't seen you since you were seven."

"Nice to see you again. Uncle March send his hellos and his love to the family." I said. Spike was one of the Alphas that was nice to me besides Uncle March in the beginning.

Sheriff Spike waved his hand dismissing it. "The man is old fashion. It seemed like to me like he warmed up to you and you won his heart. Your dad spoiled you and look at you now. A grown woman as New York's favorite P.I. I'm happy that you are here." He handed me a big envelope. "Everything you need is in here. Flashdrive of the footage, list of places, keys to the mall, names. The owner is giving you full access to the mall."

"Sounds good."

"Oh, one more thing. Since you were coming I gave the head of security and the mall owner that you were coming. Only a little handful of people know who you are. There is only one security guard at the mall at night. His name is Maxamus, he's good at his job but some how the robbers get pass him. He mention to me one time that he wanted to be a cop."

"Dad told me about him, he was the one that reported the missing items. I was told he's a rookie."

"Rookies do tend to make mistakes and he did go to the police academy and work hard too but to be honest, the owner is not happy with him. Now lets introduce you to the precinct."

I can skip that part, they do know I'm here. "No need sir, I want to win them by talent not by Alpha."

He nodded. "You're one of a kind, Kaynine. But you tell me if anyone is bothering you."

"Yes sir."

I went back to the hotel and went over the files. Same thing as dad and Uncle March showed.

I went drove over to a few stores the were robbed.

I went to the store. "Cathrine, P.I," I held up my badge. "Can I look around?"

"By all means, please." the clerk backup and I looked around.

This is a jewelry store and half of the jewelry is missing. I went behind the counter. These does slide open. "Sir, was these doors open when these were discovered?"

"No. They were locked up tight."

I got down on the floor and got out my flashlight. I went down under the counters and found a hole. That's a size of a snake or a lizard. I took pictures.
