Apologies

Zenitsu's POV
I walked out of the room to find Genya and Inosuke sitting at the table eating. I thought this would be easy but then I saw and remembered how muscular they were. It was very intimidating.

Still, I swallowed my fear and pride and went up to them. Genya looked up at me with a poker face (meaning he can't really tell what he's feeling) and Inosuke glared at me. His glare was so a cold and  heartless, it sent shivers down my spine.

"Hey G-Genya, I was wanting to apologize for what I said earlier. I-i didn't actually mean it, I haven't gotten the chance to know you so I don't really know much about how you actually are and I was hoping you could forgive me and we could have a fresh start?" I said looking down, feeling bad. I slowly looked up and saw Genya had a small smile "Yeah, that sounds nice. I'm Genya Shinazugawa" he said, reaching out his hand, signaling a new start. "I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma, good to meet you" I took his hand and smiled back at him. "Im gonna go finish unpacking, I'm glad to talk to you" I said to them. I see Inosuke gobbling down the rest of his food while Genya nodded towards me. With that I turned around and started my way back to my room. When I looked up, I saw Tanjiro giving me a thumbs up. I smiled back at him and then went to finish unpacking.

Inosuke's POV
Im glad he apologized and made amends with Genya. I need to thank Tanjiro for talking some sense into him. I'll invite him for coffee tomorrow morning.

Genya's POV
I really didn't want to be enemies with any of my roommates or have any tension between us. So whenever Zenitsu apologized, I didn't think twice about accepting his apology. I hope we all get along better. Maybe we can play some games later to get to know each other better! (Genya cinnamon roll 🥺)

Tanjiro's POV
Zenitsu did well. I'm glad I was able to convince him to apologize. I sure Inosuke is happy as well.

Later after I finished unpacking, I walked out into the living room to find Inosuke raiding the fridge and Genya scrolling through the TV channels. "Hey, what's up guys?" I turned around to see Zenitsu walking out of his room. "Oh nothing. Hey I was thinking" Genya started "do you guys wanna play some games tonight to get to know each other better? Like 20 questions or something? I figured because we all will be rooming together for the next 4 years of our lives ( I'm a highschool student, I don't know how college works ok? This is how it works in my universe, wether u like it or not) it would be best if we all got to know each other better" Genya finished.

"That sounds like a great idea!" I said in agreement. "Yeah, I'm down" Zenitsu said. I look over to Inosuke only to see him with a mouth full of Raman noodles. He gave a thumbs up in agreement nonetheless.
