Convincing An Apology

Tanjiro's POV
I wake up and look at my clock. It was 6:48am. I noticed that the air smelt good so I decided to get up and check out what was causing that smell. As I walked out, I saw Genya in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

"Good morning, what ya cooking? It smells good" I guess I startled him, causing him to jump a bit. "Oh good morning, just some bacon, eggs and Pancakes. I was craving all of these and couldn't choose one" he chuckled a bit, to which I joined. "It smells amazing" I complemented. "Just try this" he said with a smirk, getting so eggs on a fork and handing to get fork to me. I took the fork and tried the eggs and to my surprise, they were amazing. I guess he could tell I liked them because he laughed and told me to go sit down and that breakfast is almost done.

I sat down and about 5 minutes later, Genya asked if I could wake Inosuke up to tell him breakfast is ready. I got up and started walking to his room and knocked to make sure I didn't invade on his privacy. With no reply, I assumed he was still asleep and carefully opened his door. I finally got a good look at his room. It was pretty messy, a pile of dirty clothes piled up and a couple of cups on his desk. Papers scattered all of his desk. I looked over to his bed, the covers were all messed up and there he was, spread across the bed, snoring.... Without a shirt. 'damn, he is so muscular for a guy with such a pretty fac- STOP" I could feel my face start to heat up.

I shaked the thought away and walked up to Inosuke, shaking him slightly in attempt to wake him up. "Inosuke, Inosuke" I said in a soft voice in order not to startle him like I did Genya. His eyes fluttered open, revealing a tired yet beautiful look. "Good morning" he said in his groggy voice. "Hey, Genya said that breakfast is ready." This seemed to get his attention. "What's for breakfast?" "Bacon, eggs and pancak-" before I could even finish my sentence, he shot up and ran out of his room.

I walked out and saw Inosuke already sitting at the table, digging into his food while Genya laughing nervously. I guess all of this noise woke up our other roommate, seeing as he walked out of his room as well. When Inosuke noticed him, he glared at him and then beconed me to come and eat with him and Genya. I came and sat down next to him and he just smiled that goofy at me and then went back to devouring his food.

I decided I would talk to the blonde haired boy about what happened yesterday after breakfast. When I finished eating, I asked the blonde to follow me to my room, he nervously got up from the couch and followed me. "Look" I started sternly "I'm sorry! I didn't know he was insecure about that and I didn't even mean it and that he was just trying to sound like I couldn't be pushed around but that turned out the way I wished" he said swiftly, crying and clinging to the bed frame. "Shouldn't you say that to Genya? I don't even know your name and your apologizing to me for something you did to him."

"I'm sorry, I'm Zenitsu" he said sniffling and standing up " I'm Tanjiro, I think it's best if you go and apologize to Genya" "but-" "no buts, no cuts, no coconuts. Do you want them to hate you and possibly beat you up for every move you make?" I said, reasonably. He shaked his head "Yeah, I guess your right, thanks" he said starting to walk out. "Go fix your mistakes and thank me later"
