Chapter 11: Start of the league!

Finally, the league is about to begin! This first part will be a bit shorter as I am just going to copy the battles from the actual episodes. But, I hope you all still enjoy it! So without further ado, here is the 1st part of the Kalos League! Enjoy!

Ash and the others went back out, and tried to find the Kalos League registration booth. All around them, people were training alongside their pokemon, hoping to get far or even win that year's Kalos League. Clemont looked at the strength of what would be Ash's opponents, and told Ash, "Looks like you're gonna have to be extra careful this time Ash. Everyone here seems pretty strong." Ash looked at Clemont, and replied, "Don't worry. In fact, this makes participating in the league even more fun! I can't wait to show my skills out there. Time to win this league and become a Pokemon Master!"

Serena, Clemont and Bonnie laughed at Ash's enthusiasm. However, one person heard Ash's declaration and tightened his fists.

The group continued walking to the registration booth. Suddenly, a man stood in their way. He had a red mohawk, and his partner was a Furfrou, who shared a similar frown as his trainer. "So you say you're going to win this league, huh? Time to see if you're a man of your word."

Excitement built up inside Ash, as he took out a pokeball. He was about to let out one of his pokemon, when Serena grabbed Ash's arm. Ash looked to see Serena frowning at him, saying, "Ash, don't rush into things. You still have to register for the league. You don't want to be late, do you?" Ash mentally facepalmed, and apologised to the red-mohawked trainer. He promised they would have a battle at a later time. As the group left, the trainer gritted his teeth in anger.

After Ash had registered, the group decided to eat dinner before heading for Meyer's house to rest. As they ate, they noticed some people walking towards them.

"Hey guys! Ash, are you participating in the Kalos League as well?"

Tierno, Trevor and Shauna appeared beside them, smiling at them. Ash replied, "I sure am. And I'm guessing you are also competing." Tierno and Trevor nodded, then looked towards Serena.

Trevor said, "Serena, we all watched your Master Class performance. It was fantastic! Congrats on becoming Kalos Queen." Serena blushed a bit in embarrassment. Just then, Tierno grew hearts in his eyes, and said, "You were already a queen in my eyes before. But now, you're an actual queen! Tha-"

"Back off Tierno, she's mine now."

Ash smirked, and he wrapped his arm around Serena. Tierno stared at Ash in shock, and stuttered, "Y- you are S- Serena's boyfriend?... But how?" In his mind, he exclaimed, "Ash, THE dense Ash, is in a relationship with someone like Serena? How did he win her over?"

Serena giggled at Tierno's reaction, and decided to say, "Sorry Tierno, I know you liked me all this time. But I have only one person in my heart, and that's Ash. And it seemed like he finally realised as well, so here we are now." She looked up at Ash as she blushed, the latter smiling back.

It finally clicked in Shauna's mind, and she started squealing. She ran towards Serena, and hugged her tightly while congratulating her.

Tierno finally seemed to calm down, and said, "Well, seeing how happy you are, I shall accept my fate. However, you better not break her heart Ash, or I am going to literally tear you apart." Ash sweatdropped at this, and only nodded in reply. Tierno, Trevor and Ash said their well wishes, and they left.

As if on cue, the moment Tierno, Trevor and Shauna left, Ash noticed Sawyer from a distance. He remembered the promise he made to Sawyer, and nodded at Sawyer. Sawyer, who had also found Ash, nodded back and smiled, before walking away.
