At last, it's the end of the story. I apologise for the much shorter length of this chapter, but I needed a short yet impactful way to quickly conclude the whole story. Hopefully you guys still enjoy it though! Without further ado, here is the last chapter of "Making Memories Together"! Enjoy!
10 years later...
"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
Ten-year-old Aaron's eyes slowly fluttered open. Remembering the special occasion happening on that day, he shot up from his bed. Just like that, his drowsiness just disappeared.
"Yes! It's finally the day!"
Aaron quickly made his bed, changed his clothes, and made a beeline towards his parent's room.
Once he reached his parent's room, he immediately jumped up and down on their bed. And guess what? He was jumping on his father's side of the bed.
"Mom, Dad, wake up! It's my 10th birthday today! The day has finally come!" Aaron shouted enthusiastically.
Both parent's eyes started to stir, one of them evidently more uncomfortable than the other.
*cough**cough* "Look Aaron, I get that you're excited. But do you really need to jump on me? Arceus, I'm gonna have aches all over me later." Ash said, groaning.
"Well, he knows better than to jump on his mother like that, and knows very well that his father has much more tolerance when it comes to stuff like this." Serena said with a wide smile.
Ash sighed in defeat, "You make a valid point, but still, don't do that again please..."
Aaron just crawled down the bed, laughing continuously. He then proceeded to run out of their room.
"That kid has so much energy in him, doesn't he?" Serena asked.
"He really does, but I can't blame him. That was exactly how I was when I was 10. Only difference is he is way more punctual than me." Ash replied, getting out of bed.
With that, Ash helped Serena out of bed, and both of them met Aaron in the dining room to have a special breakfast together. As it was Aaron's birthday, Serena whipped up all of his favourite meals. Spaghetti and meatballs, dumplings and curry filled the whole table. Aaron couldn't wait any longer, and he wasted no time gulping down all the food. Ash and Serena also ate to their heart's content, albeit with more manners than Aaron.
Throughout the whole meal, Aaron kept rambling about how excited he was to get his starter pokemon and to finally be able to journey out into the world. Ash and Serena listened on, giggling at his eagerness.

After Ash and Serena's wedding, many more things had happened until the present time.
Firstly, both Ash and Serena decided to give their titles to other worthy trainers, so that they could live a more peaceful life and be able to spend time with Aaron. Despite this, they were still nicknamed the "world's number 1 couple".
Next, the remaining couples had gotten engaged shortly after their wedding, and another joint wedding was organised for all of them.
Over the past decade, May and Drew unfortunately found out that unlike them, their baby girl Crystal had a knack for battling, which frequently caused some disagreements between her and her parents. However, the family still manages to keep themselves intact, and they lived generally happily together. Crystal and Aaron were also the best of friends, constantly playing with Ash's pokemon in Professor Oak's lab together.
Everyone else also had their own children a few years afterwards. All of them, including Crystal and Aaron, were good friends.
