Week 1 "Movie Date" (Tarlos) 🎥

~This story is set before S3 E18~

Carlos's POV

It was 5:00, which meant that Tk's shift had finally ended. We haven't done much together for a while, since we both had been very busy. So I had the idea of taking him to see a movie. The movie theater was doing Throwback Thursdays. So it was playing many different movies from the early two thousand. It hurt a little knowing the movies of my childhood are known as throwbacks, but whatever. As I said there were different types of movies, and this week was all Amanda Bynes movies. Now there was one movie she was in, that I know is Tk's favorite, She's the Man. We had already watched it a thousand times, but never in a theater, so I bought tickets for Ty and me. Now here I am parked in the small parking lot next to the firehouse, waiting for them to get back from a call.

3rd POV

It took around 15 minutes for the 126 to get back. Once Tk got out of the ambulance and said bye to Nancy and Tommy. He saw Carlos waiting right outside the Big garage door of the firehouse. Carlos starts walking towards Tk before greeting his boyfriend with a kiss on the cheek. "Hi," Tk said in his usual tired from work voice. "Go get your stuff, so we can go, I have a surprise for you." Tk being curious asked, "Ooh what is it?" "I can't tell you, it won't be a surprise then," Carlos replied.

~In the car ~

"So what's the surprise, Carlos?" Tk asked. "Well, ya know how the movie theater is doing a Throwback Thursday. I got us tickets to one of the movies." Carlos explained as he continued driving. "Aw thank you, what movie is it?" Tk asked with a smile. "You'll see when we get there," Carlos answered. The two then arrived at their home so Tk could take a shower and get ready.

~Time skip around an hour or so~

"You ready to go?" Carlos asked as he saw Tk walk out of their room. "Yeah," Tk said before grabbing his wallet and putting it in his back pocket. It only took around 15 minutes to get to the movie theater.

~At the movie theater~

"Do you want any popcorn?" Tk asked looking up at Carlos. "Obviously," Carlos replied jokingly. They bought their food and went to go find the theater it was in, and once they got closer Carlos covered Tk's eyes, so the sign above the entrance didn't spoil the surprise. They walked in, and Carlos moved his hands as they decided where to sit. The two found their seats, and sat down before "So, now are you going to tell me what we're gonna see?" Tk asked like an eager child, a cute eager child. "You'll see in like 5 minutes, don't worry," Carlos replied before leaning his head on the back of the seat. Tk sighed in response before leaning his head on Carlos's shoulder. As the ads for new movies showed, a horror movie ad started which had a huge jump scare in the trailer causing Carlos to almost jump. Tk laughed and said "So much for being a brave cop." Soon the ads stopped, and the first scene started. Not even a second after it started, Tk exclaimed with a big smile on his face "It's She's the man, Carlos!" "I told you it was a good surprise," Carlos replied. As the movie went one Tk had been reinacting the funny scenes "Ahh, it burns it burns!!" Tk reenacted as he dramatically flopped his head against Carlos. "And when I open my eyes, I see you for what you truly are, UGLY!" "My favorites Gouda," Tk said as he put his and in the same dramatic way as the Viola, and looked at Carlos. At this point, Carlos wasn't even watching the movie he was just watching Tk, and how happy he was re-enacting the scenes. Once the movie ended and everyone walked out Tk was ranting about how they should make a She's the man 2, but it would be one of those sequels where the only thing good about it was an older and shirtless Channing Tatem. As the two got in the car to head home Carlos asked "So did you have fun?" "Yea, of course," Tk said with a big smile. After a minute or two Tk said "thank you for taking me. I love you, Carlos." "I love you too." Carl's said before grabbing Tk's hand and kissing the top of his knuckles.
