~This Story is set around a year after they had gotten married but they haven't met Brianna yet~

It was around November 5th, 10 days before the 15th. Which was a certain Doctor's birthday. So Rick had planned a big surprise for it. That night while Drew was at work, Rick started his plan. He went to a supply store and bought 5 packs of sticky notes, in different colors. Once he got home he sat in the living room with a list and all 5 packs of sticky notes and got writing. Most of the sticky notes had pickup lines or compliments on them. One of the stickies said, "Are you Gravity? cause I'm fallen for you" and many others. Rick had started this around 8 o'clock it was now midnight. So 4 hours and a food break later, Rick was done; he finally had all 120 ready. "Now operation Annoy my husband can commence." Rick had said to himself as he gathered up all of the sticky notes and put them in his pocket. He then went around their house and put only a few notes around. For example, one of them was stuck to the inside door of the bread cabinet. After he was done, Rick went to bed.

~Time skip to the next morning after Drew got off work~

He got home around 5 am and decided to go to the kitchen to get some food. Drew opened a cabinet and a pink sticky note fell out. "What is this? What did Rick do?" Drew wondered. The sticky note said "They say if you go into the bathroom and look above the sink. You can see the prettiest thing ever." Drew, curious, went to one of the bathrooms, looked above the sink, and saw the mirror. That was when Drew realized Rick had made it. No one else would do something so stupid...and cute. "Wow just wow" Drew mumbled. After that Drew went back to the kitchen to finish making his food, soon after he went to bed, cuddling up to Rick as he fell asleep.

~The same day just a bit later ~

It was around 6:30 am when Rick woke up from his alarm going off, instead of getting ready for work he added 7 more sticky notes around the house. One of them said, "I must be a photographer, cause I could picture us together for the rest of our lives" Once he was done getting ready he went over to Drew and started to poke him while trying not to laugh "Stop it." Drew groaned before rolling over. So Rick kept poking at him, and after a few minutes Drew was finally up. "What?" Drew asked grumpily. "I gotta go to work, Love," Rick answered before trying to quickly boop Drew, which was successful. "Okay, I love you," Drew said slightly annoyed at the boop. As he started walking away Rick smiled while replying with "Love you too."

~Once Rick got home~

Rick had just gotten home around 5. So he then started adding a few more sticky notes, by this time Drew was about to go to work. "Hi," Rick said as he walked in the door. "Wait!  have you been putting the sticky notes around the house?" Drew asked as he walked up to Rick from the living room. "No, what do you mean?" Rick asked in a confused tone, cocking his head to the side. "The sticky notes that keep popping up," Drew answered, before grabbing a folded-up pink sticky note from his jean pocket. "There's been many like this everywhere," Drew said looking like he was going insane. "I think you're going insane, I haven't seen any," Rick replied. Drew just continued getting ready and soon he left for work, leaving Rick alone. This was not good a good idea.

~Drew's POV~

It was a day before my birthday, and I am sick and tired of the evil sticky notes, and all the cheezy pickup lines. It doesn't help Rick is saying he's not seeing them, even though I know he has been putting them everywhere. As I got up from the couch in the living room, I saw a blue sticky note on the wall that was by the kitchen all the other sticky notes were pink, so I went and grabbed it, out of curiosity. It said "follow the notes to a surprise -Rick❤" Now I'm interested. I looked around and saw another blue one on the stairway.

~ 3rd POV~

Drew then followed the sticky notes which all had arrows pointing to the next ones, after 5 sticky notes the last one said "Go to the chamber of secrets." You might be wondering what is this guy talking about, and before you ask no they did not live at  Hogwarts. Though Drew would not complain about living in a fantasy castle. The two had a joke when they first bought their new house, that if they had to go back to the closet they would go in the hallway one since it was huge, so they nicknamed the chamber of secrets, as a joke. So Drew went to the closet and saw another blue sticky note saying "Are you a parking ticket? Cause you got fine written all over you. I'm kidding, go to the office and find the green stickie note." As Drew read the note he couldn't roll his eyes hard enough. He truly married an idiot. So he went to the office and found a box with a green sticky note on it that said "Open me" So he reluctantly opened the box and sighed as he saw another sticky note. But this was different the note had said "For your birthday I'm taking you to that one restaurant downtown that you love -The best husband ever" After seeing the ending of the sticky Drew just smiled, Once Rick had gotten home instead of the usual hug and kiss, he got Drew complaining about making him go insane with the stick notes. Even though he would never admit it Drew enjoyed the stickies. So the next night the two went out, the fun thing was that the restaurant had a dance floor and bar, so of course, they got drinks. Drew walked up to the bar and asked for two beers on tap. "Okay, any reason your here tonight?" The bartender asked, trying to start a conversation. She had long blond hair that was tied up into a bun, and she also had a crop top on that said "Daddy's Girl" and "I'm here for my birthday." Drew answered completely oblivious to her flirting. "Haven't I seen you here before?" She asked as she finished pouring a beer and worked on the other. "Oh there was an emergency here a few weeks ago, I work at a hospital, so they called me down to help."

"Oh, you're a doctor how nice." She replied with a smile and wink. "And his husband's a cop," Rick said a tad aggressively as he walked up to the bar. Hearing this she decided to focus more on the beers and pouring them correctly. "Well, that was aggressive," Drew said as he chuckled. "What it's not my fault. She was flirting with my guy," Rick shrugged. "Wait she was flirting with me?" Drew asked astonishedly. "Yeah Drew, how did you not know?" Rick asked a bit confused. Drew raised his left hand and pointed towards his wedding ring, then at Rick's. Rick could not help but laugh at his husband. The two soon got their beers and went back to the table they were sitting at. After around half an hour and a few beers, Drew heard his favorite song, Perfect by Ed Sheran. It was also the song they danced to at their wedding. Drew's eyes lit up. "Rick.." Drew started but was interrupted by Rick asking "Let me guess you want to go dance?" "Duh, come on cowboy," Drew said as he got up. Cowboy was a nickname Rick had for years, it started when they were both in basic training. Back then whenever Drew talked to Rick or mentioned him he had always called him cowboy for his heavy Texan accent that he sadly lost years ago. Rick reluctantly got up and went to go dance with Drew. "See and you said the sticky notes were stupid, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for them " Rick joked. The two then danced the night away coming home around 1 am.
