not so perfect after all

Chapter six

LILYS P.O.V

We just arrived at the police station in the parking lot, I'm so nervous I don't know if I want to go inside anymore I don't want to tell on him but what he did was wrong

"Ja'marwin do I have to?" I asked

"Not if you don't want to" she answered

"I don't want to anymore I'm sorry" I said looking down

"It's okay" says Ja'marwin

She drove us to her house... I checked my phone and Josh had texted me he said "Hey can you meet me somewhere? We really need to talk" I texted him back and said "Um sure but not at your house" he texted back and said "Okay want to meet at the coffee shop?" I texted him back and said "Uh yeah sure"

"Hey Ja'marwin I'm going to meet Josh" I said not looking her in the eyes

"Okay but I'm coming with you" she answered I wasn't expecting that

"Okay then let's go" we got into her car and drove to the coffee shop. We saw Josh sitting there with a little box and some flowers. We got out the car and went and sat with him.

"Hey Lily! Um hi Ja'marwin" he said as we sat down

"Why you say um hi Ja'marwin?" Asked Ja'marwin making a funny face

"No reason I just wasn't expecting you to be here" Josh said looking down "Here Lily I got these for you" he said handing me the flowers and little box. I grabbed them and smelled the flowers they were roses, and I opened the little box it had a big beautiful diamond ring, I put on the ring. "It's beautiful thank you Josh"

"Your welcome babe"

"And it fits perfectly but this doesn't mean I forgive for what you did yeah the gifts are nice but that doesn't let you off the hook"

"I know babe I just want to at least try to get you to forgive me"

"I don't known if I ever forgive you for what you did" I said Ja'marwin was just sitting there I could tell she wanted to go off on him but it was no use it would go through one ear and out the other

"Can we go now?" Ja'marwin said flustered

"Yeah I think we should I'll see you later Josh" I said Josh just got up and left he wasn't happy about me leaving or bringing Ja'marwin along with me. We hoped in the car and Ja'marwin drove us to get something to eat (cheese burgers) then she drove us back to her house
