The Island Club + Pogues JJ x KIE

THE CHATEAU-JJ's POV

Me and Kie are walking over to my bike. "It was.. pretty nice to dance with you" Kie says randomly in the silence. "Yeah," I continue smiling "It was pretty fun, huh?" We both look at each other, locking eyes and smiling. God, she's so pretty.. I can't stop staring at her eyes, and lips, and just everything. I look away as I realize I'm staring too much. As we're almost about to reach my bike I check the time, 8:03, I read.

We get to my bike and I have only one helmet, so I give it to her. "You only have one helmet" Kie asks me. "Well.. yeah," I continue shrugging "I didn't expect to ride with anyone today.. or at all." I hop onto my motorbike, and wait for her to get on. She gets on and puts her arms around my waist. "You ready" I ask her as I turn the ignition on. "Yeah, I'm ready" she says smiling. I can feel her heart beating pretty fast, I think she's nervous to ride the bike. I start driving to the Chateau. I'm driving careful and slowly, because I know that Kie is pretty nervous. We go over a bump, and I feel her wrap her arms wrap around me tighter. A few moments later she lays her down her head on my back.

We pull up to Chateau shortly after John B did. Kie still has her arms around me as we pull to a stop. "How was the ride?" John B asked Kie. "I actually really enjoyed it, surprisingly" Kie responds as she takes the helmet off her head. I notice Pope is staring pretty hard at me and Kie, did something happen between them again? I brush off the occurrence and hop off my bike. "I need to try to ride one of those some time" says Sarah sarcastically. "You'd probably crash it immediately Val" John B says smiling at her. "Alright love birds lets go chill on the hammocks," Kie continues walking to the hammocks "I need a joint pretty soon JJ." We all get into hammocks and I decided to share one with Pope, and John B and Sarah shared one. Kie got one to herself, which I think she was happy about. I unzipped my bag and pulled out the pack of beers, and passed one to each of them. Then I pulled out the joint and lit it. Me and Kie shared it, cause no one else really wanted a hit of it.

We all chatted for hours, about the party, things we've seen, and just everything. During the time I started a fire which everyone went by to warm up at about 10:00. After hours of just drinking and hanging out, everyone fell asleep, except me.

I couldn't seem to fall asleep so I went inside to the Chateau, into an actual comfy bed. I haven't been able to sleep well since we were on that island. I laid there in silence, just staring up at the ceiling. But all the sudden I heard the door creak. It was Kie, for some reason she came in too, maybe she couldn't sleep either. "Oh hey," I said sitting up to look at her "could you not sleep too?" Kie sat down at the edge of the bed "Yeah, I've been thinking too much." I moved up next to her "Well, what has you thinking?" "I just.." she said getting silent for a moment "I've been real stressed cause I think my parents are sending me to boarding school.." I sighed, and grabbed her hand which was placed on her thigh. "If you ever need anyone, or anything, you can come to me Kie.." I said, locking eyes with her. I could see tears forming in her eyes, and her getting choked up. "I really just can't leave you guys, you guys are family to me" she said looking down at her feet.

"I.." the words wouldn't come out, I was too scared. I closed my eyes tight "I.. love you Kie.." Tears started going down her face, yet she still smiled through it. "I've been feeling that way for awhile," I continued "and I understand if you don't feel the same way." I looked down away from her eyes, down to my feet "I'm so-" She cut me off and kissed me. I was so surprised but I relaxed and it felt like I melted. Her hand was in my hair and the other on my face. I put my hands on her waist tightly. I couldn't help but pull her onto me, her sitting on my lap, kissing me. I pulled away for a second to look out the door, to see no one. I kissed her again and pulled her into the bed, embracing her. She soon fell asleep in my arms. After a few minutes, I did too, after not sleeping for awhile I finally was able to.
