By late afternoon we are headed home in Hunters car, I've not been able to shake my bad mood since Alex's comments I know Hunter is annoyed at me now for acting the way I did. Alex apologised and said he was joking but it still wasn't enough to wipe away this horrible feeling. My dad offered me to stay another night but with a lot of reassurance for him and my mum that I was very happy in Hunters home i waved them goodbye promising to not leave visiting so long again. However sitting in this quiet car with the low music filling the silence I can't pull myself away from my thoughts.

"Arabella you better not be still brooding over Alex's stupid comments"

Hunter finally says I choose to ignore him not trusting my voice as my eyes fill with tears at the annoyance clear in his words.

"Stop calling me Arabella"

I whisper out, loud enough that he can hear me. Hunter quickly pulls the car over to the side of the road and jumps out I freeze... he's not punishing me is he ? Before I can get lost in my thoughts the door is open and my seatbelt is off.

"Please don't punish me"

I panic .. not here.. on the side of the busy motorway. Hunter lifts me into his arms and holds me tight I relax when I realise he isn't going to.

"Baby I love you so much. Alex's comments aren't real, yes I'm not as strict with you I don't treat you like I would have my other subs but the difference between you and them is I love you. You're my girlfriend they weren't. You're more than enough now stop worrying that pretty little head of yours so we can go home and cuddle okay?"

I don't reply but the tears rolling rapidly down my face and my tight grip around him is enough for him to know I'm listening.

"Are you ready to go home now"

Hunter asks after a minute, slowly placing my legs back down to the ground he places a kiss on my head as I nod.

"I love you"

I tell him squeezing him tight one more time he returns my squeeze before opening the car door again.

"I love you too baby now get your little arse in the car so I can take you home"

I smirk and jump back into the passenger seat feeling a lot lighter. We love one another and that's enough for now.
